How do you guys take receiving a wink on here?

For me i’d send one to show interest and if i get one back i’d then message, not as an excuse to be lazy by not just messaging, especially those with no information on!

We tend to wink back when someone winks at us - I take a wink as someone testing the water !

If we wink at someone and they wink back - I assume they are interested and send a message !

I tend to send thought out messages and not just a one liner - which is pointless if the person isn’t interested

Hard to send thought out messages especially when they have absolutely nothing on their profile

Exactly my view on winks, use them to gauge if my interest is reciprocated.

Absolutely the case!! Many see it i think as oh they can’t be arsed messaging but sometimes it’s easier than your message being deleted!

Rarely wink anyone else, kind of pointless for guys, unless i fancy them like crazy..then i wink and see if they wink back...

I only seem to get winks from men, never had a wink from a lady as yet! I have had a wink from two couples, when I then send message I got nothing back. Very strange, ah well, keep on looking lol

See i’m the opposite to you here, a message tends to be deleted or unread due to sheer amount now i’m not saying that a wink will get you further just feel sometimes its a better option to a message

Love a wink.

If I receive one and I'm interested I'll send a message.

I haven't sent any yet as a lot of what I see on profiles and forums is that they tend not to look at winks or see them as lazy.

Thats what I do as well. I send winks to say I'm interested but sometimes, I receive winks back and I send a message but sometimes I don't get a reply back.. so I just leave it at that

I (Mrs) wink if I like the profile, if they wink back I'll message, sometimes I'm not 100% sure we are what they are looking for so a wink helps.

I'd always reply to a wink with one back or a message if I liked the profile.

We don’t check winks. The last time we did about 95% of them were from people who didn’t match our preferences, so they either didn’t read the profile or did and thought they’d ignore them.

We use them the same way. If someone winks at us and we are interested then we'll generally wink back. If we wink first and someone winks back then we'll send a first message.

Normally always wink before sending a message. Never get any back or receive them but I think it's a good way to show interest and helps everyone make choices easier

Yeah totally - however I might say something about us , what we are looking for - why we have sent a message etc. I hate getting messages that just say

“How are you “ or similar
