We are thinking of moving to County Durham and setting up a site with glamping pods, focussing our guests towards the kink and swinging communities

We were just wondering what the level of interest might be and any particular amenities we should consider

The pods themselves would be self contained and to a nice high standard

We used to go to a naturist campsite where they had communal showers. Was fun watching people check out Mrs P.

An absolute winner, I work each week a day or two on a quiet site with pods and lodges with hot tubs in North Yorks and it's perfect for adult stays, if I was ever in a position to do so I would certainly buy it and split it between vanilla and swingers but keep it adult only. If you have the opportunity go for it.

So each pod would be self contained, ie en-suite, kitchen area etc. outside of that, I guess that is the reason for this post, what sort of facilities would people be interested in

Hot tubs, dungeon and communal showers have been suggested. We are thinking of a space for outside play

What other suggestions have people got? We would really want to make this a unique venue, and pull in the great ideas

We’ve been looking for somewhere like this to stay that’s far enough form home but not too far. This would be ideal.

A hot tub would be good and somewhere for outdoor play and for taking outdoor pics too.

Sounds good lovely up there in the summer. But can be bleak in winter so them pods will need room for a group hug . To keep warm and stop things from shriveling away.

Very true, so larger beds and underfloor heating might be a good idea ??

Definitely like the outside play idea. The freedom to do this under the stars would be great!

its a great idea - was trying to set up something like this a few years ago but not the swinging side ,finding a site big enough and secluded enough was the problem - their is a canmping and pod site in finkle abbey about 1mile north of durham city centre which is great for normal stuff
