little bumps on nipples

Hi My wife has lots of small bumps around her nipple area, recently they have increased in number and the area around the nipple has gotten larger is this normal, She does have big breasts (36F)

Areolar glands or Montgomery glands, are normal though become more pronounced during pregnancy.
