There are so many single men, that the women on the site are swamped.

You need to make yourself stand out from the crowd and make sure your profile and first messages are on top form.

I guess it is a catch 22 situation. We don't ever consider a profile with no verifications due to the amount off people that never show up. Just send a nice email and your halfway there. They mean meet / cam verified by users (green dot) rather than photo verified by FAB (green flag).

If you go on the cams and ask nicely, someone might help do that.

Honestly I just think women are hugely outnumbered and most are very selective (totally not a bad thing). I'm a pretty less than average looking big girl and our inbox is constantly swamped to the point theres no way I can keep up replying so I dread to think what pretty skinny girls get haha, it must be never ending.

A polite friendly message that shows you have read our profile and are genuinely interested in us (as opposed to a generic 'hi' or 'how u doing?' ) works wonders, especially if it is backed up by an interesting profile that gives us an idea of what the sender is like and are looking for.

We generally have males blocked from messaging unless we are actively looking for a male for a meet, but if a male profile catches our eye we will hotlist it to refer back to at a later date.

As for standing out, yeah your photos seem pretty good compared to a lot on here.

You need to make sure your profile text isn't something that could easily have been written by anyone on here though, and ensure it catches your personality and what you can offer (mine isn't that great either tbh). It's your main way of selling yourself, so take plenty of time over it.

Then the final thing is that first message. Don't send cock pics, and let them know why you are messaging them. Make it personal, not as if it's a copy and paste job.

OP, I can sympathise completely it is hard at First, but as others have said..

Get to a Social Event locally (If You're nervous a Single Lady might agree to escort you), go to a Local Club and talk to People, Read the Profiles and send a thought out message with a couple of references to bits in their Profile to show You've read it and finally, as stated a few times... Don't lose faith over it, it just takes time.

It’s hard for us single guys that can’t accommodate no matter how genuine our reasons are.I would add a bit more to your profile with regards to what you enjoy outside of Fabs as well as what you are looking to get out of Fabs.I would also advise that you have a look at the club reviews page especially for London as that is where your profile says you are based and look into membership for some clubs or those that don’t require membership then go and have a night out.Also check out the London forum as there are organised social events in the Bank area as well as Croydon.Social are a good way to make friends and connections.Best of luck with whatever you decide.

I hope things improve for you, I always tried to respond to people that sent me a polite message even if it was to say thanks but not for me until last night. For the first time in 11 months I got an abusive response to my polite “not for me sorry “ message. (He hadn’t read my profile, he clearly just sent a copy paste message)

I now don’t want to even open new Mail especially if I can see from their pictures or profile that they haven’t read mine.

if other ladies experience this too. It’s no wonder they don’t reply to messages. It’s nice to be nice but at what cost

I was lucky enough to be able to see a female friends page on here. Inundated with messages 24/7 from single guys on here. It's no wonder woman tend no to reply, just enjoy the site, check out all the various areas and keep plugging away.

People end up aiming lower simply due to the fact that the ratio of men to women is so high and they want to get a meet or verification...and succeed on fab.

Meeting woman in the vanilla world is a lot easier ( for me,) but that's not what I want,I enjoy fab dates.

OP go to an organised social, there are loads listed in the forums you will meet loads of folk.

There’s nothing wrong with being fat. Just because you don’t find it attractive doesn’t mean others don’t. People’s worth isn’t determined by your unpleasant opinion.

Maybe this is a reality check for you. If people were finding you attractive then you’d be doing well. If you’re not it’s because people don’t find you attractive. That goes for your physical appearance and your personality as presented in your profile and messages.

Sadly, this is true. Given the nature of the site, the number of female users compared to the number of male users and the staggering amount of time wasted trawling through fake profiles and enduring no shows, expectations, and standards, will inevitably be lower than those in the "real world".

The counter arguments, namely "Well why don't you go and meet a woman in the real world?", just aren't valid. It's safe to assume that the majority of users on Fab are looking for something niche. Whether that's a certain charactistic, or a specific kink, the functions on this site literally allow you to establish your own criteria and places the most appropriate profiles in the palm of your unwanking hand. In the "real world", if I was looking for a bisexual female smoker, whos into anal and blindfolds, within 10 miles of my location, then I might be searching for months and asking some very pertinent and awkward question. Thankfully all that hassle, and all those restraining orders are avoided; here it's done in mere seconds.

People use Fab, not because they can't get laid elsewhere...it's because they want something different. Decency, laws and rules still apply though, so be nice, be respectful and realise that things, sometimes, take time.
