Private swinger's party.

We have had to cancel an ad on here, offering our home for a private swinger's party.

The lack of interest amazed us, concidering lots of people on here moan about nothing going on in our area, only one cpl have showed an interest. What's going on in the real swinging world, is it now a fantasy thing, or are there really and genuine swinger's out there anymore.

Seem like socials are the thing which attracts people, but we find them just full of men, which is OK for some.

Each to there own we say. It's just a shame we had to do that. Why!! xx

I've never been to a private party because I think I'd feel more pressure to play as presumably the numbers would be relatively low, & also with that I think there's possibly less chance of you finding someone you'd want to play with compared to a club or 1-2-1 meets which are my personal preference

I have generally found parties to be relatively low pressure scenarios. I think they work best when you have a mix of people who know each other and a smaller number of new people who are attending for the first time. As long as people are sociable then it tends to work well.

For us most private parties are arranged normally within a group of swingers that have met before.

We have never held a party at our home, so kudos on hosting to potential strangers.

We have arranged a social and that was an absolute nightmare.

So many people asked to come, but when they were asked to pay a deposit which was refundable, the excuses started.

In the end 22 of the 106 that asked to go turned up.

I wouldn't go through the stress again, but it turned into an amazing night.

We only do couples party's, and that seems to work out fine, our party's have never been bigger than 10 none pushy couples, and very relaxed.

No means no at our party's everyone knows that before they come, but getting back to what we asked for, why so little interest?? xx

I'd say alot has to do with only 4 verifications and nothing in 2 years, it's the cold reality of Fab that alot of people prefer experienced couples etc.

I'm guessing at a social the likelihood of getting up close and personal is reduced. I don't know. I just think loads of people are way more cautious than they used to be

You can feel pressure at private parties it's also why we don't go if invited. It's very awkward being the only ones not playing and you might be taking a space someone else could have had.

I agree with that , I see it the same as why would you go to a naturist beach and keep your swimwear on …

Think swinging in general as changed since covid . There is a hardcore of revelers who don’t seem to care about covid and were in fact meeting even during lockdown which was rather stupid but in general most people seem to be being sensible and have changed the way they do things . Us included

Some host put on snacks hun,we understand that. we don't charge anything, just bring your own drinks

Most socials I have been to require a small deposit.

This goes on food and to pay for the use premises.

It also stops alot of fantasists taking up spots that genuine swingers could have.

Most socials I have been to require a small deposit.

This goes on food and to pay for the use premises.

It also stops alot of fantasists taking up spots that genuine swingers could have. "

Most socials we attend are advertised on fab and totally free often held in a local pub and we go undercover as a bikers club meeting
