Yes it matters but not in the traditional way, at least for me. Too big and it just isn't going to fit so like an average / slightly above average dick.

What's more important for me is hygiene and whether the person cares enough about their appearance to at least trim, preferable shave. I think it shows that they care about themselves more by taking the effort to do so.
