"Love

The best and the worst place to be. "

Its an emotion that can over take the whole. If you allow it to.

As you say it can be the best or worst place..

It’s just a word that’ll tear your world apart through meaningless usage

Its used many a time to convince one it is what it is.

Used Sometimes as a power play to soften the other.

" unconditional true love" is free love without ties, strings, contracts.with out want or need nor demands

.

Isn't the problem that there are many sorts of love, and it can mean very different things to different people and at different times but we only have the one word, whilst other languages apparently have lots of different words to describe these different feelings. I do love lots of people but I'm only in love with one.

Love is giving someone the ability to break your heart but trusting them not to.

Being madly in love is knowing that they likely will but being unable to stop it.

I'm sorry, but if you're going to earworm me with the thread title, everyone else is going down too. Genuine banger, to be fair. Delightful intensely nineties video, too.

I am totally "head over heels" in love with my gorgeous Husband, and I try to show it as often as I can because I think that's important in a relationship.

I feel that I am very loved by him too.

I guess love means different things to different people.

Ours allows the freedom and respect and security to be here and meet others together, so I guess thats down to keeping to agreed boundaries.

I’m probably scared of it as I’ve never experienced it. Only the opposite.

'What is Love?' is by Haddaway. Dr Alban did 'It's My Life', which is also a tune.

At 48 I finally realise what it is to love yourself. Took me a while to get there, but I’m winning.

Love to me is trusting each other completely, being passionate and feeling close.

It’s wanting to be with that person more and more because the feeling you get when around that person makes you feel alive.

You do things for each other, for the simple joy of making each other happy.

Their happiness is your happiness. You have a constant feel of contentment.

For me it would have to be your whole mood changing ( for the better ) when you see the person you love, the ability to make you smile just from thinking about them. Wanting to be only a positive in their life and a crutch/support blanket when or if it's needed. And also knowing those feelings and wants are 100% reciprocated and never in doubt. But that's just my take on it

I love a lot of people, mainly my family and friends, but I ‘love’ loads of you lot here in the forums too; for being able to make me smile when I’m feeling low, or by making me belly laugh uncontrollably with just one or two short, pithy comments, and also those of you that make me cry for the pain you share with us.

When I’m IN love, my heart smiles whenever I see, think about or hear from them, even if we’ve had words, or are going through a bad patch.
