Are there a lot of men posing as couples on here? I have to wonder as I find I engage in promising dialogue with a couple only for them to ask me about my fantasies but things seem to go around in circles when I talk about arranging a meet.

Lots of them. The female half is often out at work, in bed or the bath, and can't answer messages. Almost everything is "I" and never "we" as well. After a couple of years, we're getting good spider senses.

Yeah there's loads.

Usually it is profiles that are not photo-verified, but ARE cam/"meet" verified - usually by one or two people/"people" but not displayed on their profile.

Profiles that are photo and meet verified and had a string of veris in, say, 2017/2018, but none since. To continue using their's and their ex-partner's profile to solicit images/videos...essentially free porn...from unsuspecting individuals who are genuine and may want to meet, you can imagine these men have consent issues and wonder if it was in any way related to why their partners left then.

At worst they could be potential stalkers looking for an easier way in, especially with more personal data like addresses etc.

It's not a hard and fast rule of course, especially with the pandemic stopping most people from meeting during lockdown and who may not have met anyone since, or just people who don't meet that often. But in most cases it's best to proceed with caution even with verified profiles.

You have to have your wits about you on a place like Fab.

There's thousands of fake couple profiles on here that are set up by guys. Many are even verified, funny enough often by one Man by meet. The best advice is follow the verification trail.

There’s a few around my area currently, always post status / meet events for only the male to ‘play’ or ‘meet’ and it makes you think if it is an actual couple…

I would say that the only way to sort out the fakes is to ask them to appear on cam together. It's as simple as that.

When we have chatted with potential couples, we ask them to go on cam together.

It's amazing the excuses we get! She's at work, we don't have a webcam, etc.

It's not hard to go into the chatroom and switch on your cam for a minute or so, just to verify.

Either that or speak with the female half on the phone.

We don't enter into long conversations until we have definite proof that it's not just the man!

If they are not willing to go on cam, then we don't chat any further.

I always used to speak to the woman on the phone. Partly to verify she existed and was happy and also to verify that *I* exist and was happy.

Never had a no show.

We have a proper a giggle on here at the amount that are desperate and trying to cheat rather than be open in their relationship.

Rarely do we put cams on, but if a spark clicks we will set up a communal whatsapp chat where we can make it more personal and obvious that we are a couple on here together xx
