Wouldnt it be nice if people would just be gracious to reply to mail even its a no thank you,I know i`am going to get stick from couples who get swamped with mail but I`am talking about people that read the mail then check your profile but do not respond, where all adults here and I can take a rejection without it being personnel each too their own and all that if i`am not their desire than just say so or is my profile just rubbish lol Discuss

Unfortunately when you do reply to messages saying thanks for the message but am not interested, you then get into debates about why not, does my profile need work, or the reply message back is rude.

When I joined I received over 400 messages in 5 days, so sometimes you can't reply to everyone. Also if someone can't be bothered to read my profile and take note that they might not be what I am looking for, why should I bother to reply?

And yes my profile is currently hidden at present.

Its not rude at all and if you spend all your time on here waiting for everyone to reply and thinking them rude if they don't you're going to have a really miserable time on here

Think you need to concentrate on those that do reply, rather than those that don't. You can make yourself likeable, but can't make everyone like you. It just isn't possible to be all things to all people...

Now if u joined as a single guy you wouldn't have that problem with too many messages and you would only get a handful of people look at your profile a week it's a much more relaxed way to swing being a single guy lol

We reply to all messages even of it's a polite no thank you. Must admit don't reply to all winks especialy when we've looked at a profile and it says 18 to 99, no pics and a one line description. We may not be the hottest, fittest, youngest couple on here but we do have standards and would only meet others that also have standards. If people want replies they should make some effort. I know that a lot of people do make an effort and still get ignored. To them I would say, keep trying you will win in the end...

I came up with question more or less the same. politeness is very nice and it is nice to receive a reply. After reading the replies I see both sides .Yes if you are lucky to be getting lots of mail yes it must take up a lot of your time. Myself do not get many.With regard to people that do not read profiles well what caqn you say . I never mail anyone with out reading the profile If I am 1yr older than what they say I do not mail With regard to age I think some just put 18 to 99

If you were a single female or a couple with a very attractive woman then you'd understand why they don't message back because they simply get too much mail to respond to them all.

Won't get you any where bitching about it other than maybe putting more people off maybe

This old chestnut!

Well simply:

a/We don't get the time.

b/As we get a lot of messages, older ones drop off and soon then become unanswered.

c/We discuss messages when together and not every night so time may pass before a reply.

d/It is our a/c.

e/We do try to reply with a no thanks, to then be involved in a why type conversation! Which takes up our time instead of answering messages we would like to.

f/As said above, not receiving a reply is a NO thanks, and nothing further needs to be said.

g/Why should we reply to crude messages? "fancy a fuck darling"

h/Do you reply to all unwanted junk mail in your inbox, listen to cold callers for an hour and then say no thanks? Answer all unsolicited post you receive with a no thanks?

i/ No answer, time to move on.

j/ We say no thanks, for the person/people to then mail back a few weeks later, seemingly forgotten we have said no already.

k/ Oh yes, mentioned already, but say it again, it is OUR a/c and we shall run it as we see fit

Why should people reply? Surely you can see it's been read and/or deleted and that should be enough top know you weren't what they were looking for.

As a rule I normally drop a quick message back explaining why we're not interested, but I certainly don't feel obligated to. Sometimes I don't reply full stop. I also don't get offended if people don't reply to my/our messages.
