Not a mom bod..

So following on from seeing a mum bod appreciation post … and I think every body is beautiful … I am a smaller build and a gym goer … a size 6 but with smaller but still present boobs - I sometimes feel the less curvy more athletic body type is less appreciated… or maybe curvy ladies are just more confident sharing their photos ?

Thoughts ?

It’s still very much appreciated, the only thing I would say about being smaller for my situation is I’m 6ft 5 big rugby build at 21st so it can be a bit chalk and cheese

I think sometimes slimmer ladies get the raw deal on here, not that I would ever be a size 6, but people often feel it's fine to insult slimmer women in the forums and it's rarely picked up on

Although I am definitely a mum bod, I usually prefer a slim or athletic bod for female partners xx

I wouldn’t say that at all, the appreciation groups are normally a more marginalised groups. Gymfit/slim is considered the social norm or most commonly desired. I’m a fan of all body types depending on the person. There are people of all sizes that are not confident on there body and people of all sizes that are.

I reckon it just comes down to confidence at the end of the day cause for example women love confidence in a man like self confidence too they can sense it I swear because with me I’m chubby and never liked my body so been too scared to approach women but ever since I came on here I’ve been complimented on it which has shocked me and given me more confidence in myself and my looks to probably approach women who may even be slim and beautiful but yeah imo all sizes are great just having that confidence in yourself makes you come across more sexy and depends what people are into since some like slim women and some more curvy

I think people get too caught up in what a bunch of strangers on the Internet think of them. Yea it's nice if thought to be attractive but most important opinion is your own. Just be happy with who you are

Tbf I understand people have types etc but for me personally, I appreciate any figure if I think they’re attractive.

That can be whether they have curves or the more slimmer build.

It’s good to just appreciate any woman’s (or mans) figure I feel, everyone is different and unique and it’s not a ‘one size fits all’

Nicky is just over 5ft and size 6. She is always getting told she needs to eat more and gain weight. People don't do the same to bigger people! Not that there is anything wrong with being bigger or smaller. X

Thanks all - dont get me wrong I do appreciate my body - I work hard to keep it and love that I can deadlift twice my body weight - strong is sexy too .. I guess glancing at the ‘hot’ pictures I just noted they were mostly the more curvy types of ladies so it made me wonder

And you’re right mom should be mum no idea how it ended up spelt like that …

Sorry I do have to take issue with this I have been told that I need to lose weight, and I need to exercise more. So it does happen both ways, all you can do is love yourself, decide what’s important to you and what you’re willing to do.

I agree, folks who are overweight get told to quit eating as much and go on diets etc.

Most folks do not think I'm overweight but my GP passed comment so I got to as I'm told.

OP people come in all shapes and sizes. You need to love yourself and be confident, those who find you attractive will find you and vice versa

Didn't mean any offence and sorry if any caused.

It's just that Nicky gets very bothered by people telling her she needs a good meal. She eats plenty but is just naturally slight.

We would never say to someone "you need to lay off the cakes"!

For us, if you have a pretty face and a kind heart, you will do. X

This exactly ! People always comment that Mrs CT should eat more. All hell would break loose if you told someone they had to eat less

I’m really into athletic bodies at the moment.

Love defined shoulders, smaller breasts, flat/toned stomach.

Really sexy.

I think for me, my personal definition of my body is that I have a mum bod! I’m a size 8 and short, I’ve had kids which shows on the skin on my stomach. I am definitely an appreciator of a gym fit lady as much as I appreciate other body types! Miss pc

Personally I don’t let my body size or shape define who I am.

I was in the BBW category (may I add by others) it has nothing to do with how big or small I am. I OWN who I am. I don’t put myself into a box. Plus if I want to show off it’s for me anyway. Anything else is just a bonus.

Although at least you don’t get called a fat slag if you say no!! One positive no?

Completely agree, but I don’t always think it’s purposeful.

There should be equal celebrating of athletic/slimmer body types, however I think as that’s more of a media portrayed image people want to celebrate less portrayed ‘normal’ physiques.

Personally I love a slimmer or toned woman! I aspire but I eat too much crap ??

somewhere, someplace

I'm curvy, I love all shapes of women and have played with all different ones, but I tend to be more attracted to women that are slimmer than me, doesn't always work in my favour though as they're not always attracted to my shape.
