just wanted to share our experience last night, absolutely disgusting.

Well the search for a single fem like everyone else has up to yesterday hit snoney ground, howvever we thought we had cracked it over the weekend, we had been chatting to a girl who seemed very up for a meet. the profile stated "not your average girl, I have hidden extras"

not knowing what this was we felt a little shy in asking what it meant, afterall it was only wording on a profile so didnt think a significant meaning.

we never chatted on the phone but exchanged pictures, facial, not rude and agreed to meet for a drink last night.

Full dancing gear on we got a baby sitter and set out to meet.

This person turned up and turned out to be a TV (not television)

We promptly left and wasted £20 on a sitter.

Surely this should be illigal!

What on earth did he/she expect to happen. Now before we get a kicking from TV's or CD's on here, we have absolutely nothing against you, indeed we do get on well with some we meet at parties regularly, just sexually not our thing

I must admit I'd be a bit shocked if that happened. The problem is, a pre-op TS might consider themselves a female, so reporting the profile as 'wrong sex' could be dicey.

All kinds of headers go unnoticed.

Like not currently looking to meet (which I post when I'm away with work)

And I'm not bi...

And yet they go unnoticed

Admittedly this is a slightly different scenario, but I have had abuse because I'm not around to meet someone who thinks I'm a good bet for an instant shag but who hasn't read my header.

A lesson that it pays to read carefully and to ask if you're not sure.

Why just assume that "hidden extras" would be picked up on. Plenty would have missed that and I'd have thought to save both sides wasting time they would have mentioned this before a meet.

I wouldn't have thought it meant anything specific maybe that she had a special talent

It's not good not to read the WHOLE profile, but if the profile says female then a small note along the lines of 'by the way I have a cock, is that OK?' prob wouldn't have come amiss. It's a bit more of a deal breaker than being away or being offline for a bit.

Without seeing the profile in question it is hard to really pass a fair judgement but to be honest I like to think that that expression would have rang alarm bells to us. But equally in a detailed profile I can see how just a few undeniably ambiguous words could potentially be overlooked.

Really not sure what grounds it should be illegal though!

I'll admit that the minute you said "hidden extras", I thought she might have been a hermaphrodite. XD

Don't be afraid to ask in future, they wouldn't say it if they didn't want people to ask. I would've thought he/she would've had to list themself as a TV/TS though. :/

the thing is, the first thing we did was exchange pictures, and to be perfectly honest, he/she was stunning, there was no real way of telling with any conviction.

However when he/she walked into the pub and spoke it became abundantly clear. I looked at my fella, he looked at me, we were shocked but he/she didnt seem to be bothered as though we should have known or thats what we were expecting, it was a little uncomfortable, we explained we didnt know and left on good terms so to speak.

Its probably our fault for not understanding the profile.

I would of had alarm bells at the hidden extras !..

yes agree should not be on here as a woman if there not but still most pre op transsexuals are living as a woman, so in all sense and purposes would see themselves as a woman.

im thinking Crying game here and Ace Ventura shower seen !!

Poor things, you were just unlucky.

we found out almost immediately as we watched the door, we had a feeling as he/she walked up to us, but it was abundantly clear as soon as they spoke,

they said hello, we said hello back but he/she could obviously tell by our face, they said they were transexual and said it was no offence if we left, we explained we didnt know and made our exit.

we chatted on the way back discussing if it was our fault or if he/she was trying to pull a fast one, we have come to the conclusion that they expected us to know.

My advice would be to always talk to the prospective meet before the event, that way your money and time might have been saved.

There isn't an easy answer to the problem as many people have already said, pre-op transgenders have to live entirely as a woman for several years before being able to have operations for voice box reconstruction and gender reassignment, as I am only a transvestite I know for sure I could never be mistaken for a genetic girl but there are some very beautiful TS girls that can, and some choose to try and live thier lifes dream right through to the end, rather than focus about the £20 you lost, please lend a thought to the hardships this person has gone through in their life and the reasons why she chose to keep it quiet from you, hugz n stuff, Ruby, xxx
