Do people find as they get older, they get excluded from the fun in this lifestyle?

Not just playing, but the chatgroups, chatrooms, forums posts and so on.

Is age and the older generation an off putting thing for people?

I’m 58, and ok, there’s some cultural differences in the forums sometimes, but I certainly don’t feel excluded in them. The age range settings on profiles you would like to say hi to can be frustrating, especially as so may have a 55 limit seemingly, but there’s enough of us who are ageing disgracefully to not worry about it.

I self exclude sometimes because I can't add anything to the conversation because I can't relate. Other times I'm excluded because of my age which is fair enough. I sometimes exclude younger people

I’m as busy having fun as I have ever been on fab. However I have noticed that the standard of forum posting has descended to 6th form common room levels . Is that an indication of age/ generation I’m not sure. I increasing find it hard to find ‘adult’ posts I want to join in with.

Well, I've been here on and off since it just about started. Cpls actually messaged and put themselves forward and instigated a meet. My 1st was a cpl. I'm sure they prefer younger lads, especially as the fem gets older. Best thing to do is keep hold of a regular if possible

I do get disappointed sometimes when I try to send a pm to somebody I like, only to find they have blocked people of my age group, but it's their prerogative.

Other than that, the age thing hasn't seemed to have affected me too much.

Dislike being asked to pretend to be Mum, big sis or aunt though, it's not my thing at all.

I find myself in a weird age bracket it seems where I'm over 35,so excluded from those looking for younger guys, or not old enough for those looking to 40 plus..

But that's been much the experience since I joined way back when, and it's not totally stopped me
