I have been hooded and unhooded.

Being circumcised in my early 40's for medical reasons, I have experienced both sensations of with and without a foreskin.

With, the head had more sensation and sensitivity with sex and masturbation.

Without, a loss of sensation, but not too much, masturbating was like learning to do it again technique wise. Sec is just as good, if not better.

Circumcision is not male genital mutilation, especially if there is a medical need e.g phimosis. Completely agree that if you want the procedure done when you’re older that’s fine. The same principle would apply to a woman who wants labiaplasty- fine so long as they consent. There are of course (as I said in my original post) medical cases where it is beneficial to remove the foreskin.

Flip this the other way. If society (which some do) was at the point of birth removing part of the female genitals there would rightly be outcry. Just because it’s more typically done in a hospital does not change the principle that you are most often removing part of someone’s body who cannot consent and for whom in the vast majority of cases there is no medical need!
