Mum tums - turn off or turn on?

Jump to newest

As the title suggests do you find them a turn off or do the not bother you?

There is a difference in my own opinion between BBW and curvier women with mum tums like myself. Might be my own lack of self confidence but after three kids I hate my mum tum and wondered wether it’s something that not just men but women find to be a turn off?

I ask after having bad experiences with mainly men saying I’m beautiful and then realising my shape and being really rude about it

I’m confident about all other areas of my body just not there, is it just me or is that a thing?

I'm like you and really self conscious of mine. Good camera angles tend to hide it quite well but it is there.

I don't think it bothers the majority of men though, it's us putting too much pressure on ourselves x

They’re just another part of an attractive woman in my eyes. I like bbw women, milfs and mature women. They’re all gorgeous with every part of them included in that! x

Nothing wrong with a mum tum at all. Love something to hold onto!

If guys have been rude and nasty that’s because they are twats, I think most guys are like me and like all body shapes.

Hate mine but it's there even when I'm fairly slim so I'm learning to accept it. Hubby likes it so I guess that'll do for me

Absolutely not an issue as far as I’m concerned. I much prefer a shapely, natural, woman than one that looks like she doesn’t have an ounce of fat on her.

Manners maketh man.

Curves maketh woman.

I'm not confident about any of my body really. I do like my boobs but that's about it. My least favourite part of me is my belly. I wouldn't say it's a mum tum, it's just fat and horrible

I'm exactly the same, i have zero confidence if i need to show my tummy. I spend my life trying to hide it. The rest of my body i'm totally fine with same as you OP. I feel at my best in a nice basque so i can be sexy but keep it hidden x

Nope. Women come in all shapes and sizes. Some are naturally less curvy than others

I know exactly how you feel!! I absolutely hate mine too. But what I have found since being on fab is that most men are not bothered about them as much as us women that have them. I have gained more confidence being on here but hate my mum tum just as much.

I hate all of my body and I'm particularly self conscious of my mummy tummy.

Like you I've had some negative remarks over mine in the past but any man who feels like that isn't of any interest to me.

That's it a lot of women are horribly self critical about things guys don't even notice.

Mrs is self conscious of hers too. I personally find them quite sexy.

I tend to find real skinny minis or borderline anorexic a turn off.

We get the same, tell a guy we're not interested and he goes from telling us he's gagging to meet and get his hands on S to saying she's a dirty fat troll.

Tend to just block them and move on. Some can handle polite rejection. Others cannot.

I'm indifferent to them.

Sexy comes from within, mum tum or not, if I find the lady sexy, then the lady is sexy.

Your own perspective of yourself determines whether you're sexy or not. Generally.

Be happy with yourself.

I'm not a fan of mine. I hate my little pouch. But when I see them on other women I genuinely think they're quite attractive so I don't know why I beat myself up but we are our own worst enemy sometimes.

I'd also like to say that if someone is cruel about you because you have a stomach that isn't smooth and flat then fuck them, and thank your lucky stars that you discovered who they really were before letting anything intimate happen. People who judge and make unkind comments like that are uglier than any part of your body ever will be.

Absolute turn on for me as are stretch marks and cellulite, there's just something so utterly sexy and attractive about lady's with a "little extra"

I guess it's horses for course's, some blokes like size 8/10 some like me like 16/18 and far bigger, I'm not perfect but I'm pretty happy in my own skin as should everyone be xxxxxx

Nothing wrong with a mum tum.

If a lady has a mum tum then be proud of it, being a mum and having your body show that you have had the gift of children is no less attractive than the body of a woman who hasn't.

Someone I've been seeing has said he can't wait to get me naked and thinks my confidence is a turn on xxx"

Confidence is the biggest turn on, and being comfortable in your own body is very much part of that... be it mummy-tummy, c-section scar and overhang, or scars from surgery (as mentioned) and stretch marks from pregnancy or weight loss... they are all part of a lady's story and her natural beauty... I don't find any of these things a turn off in any way... quite the opposite...

I met a lass a few times who had very deep stretch marks, she hated them, and would hide them, but while exploring each others bodies we discovered that the skin around was very sensitive and in an erotic way, but she'd been to ashamed to show let alone explore that area before...

none of us are perfect... (well accept Tmontana, but I bet he doesn't think so either)

So be your best self, accept the things you can't change and become confident about the rest...

And this is really hard, but we should try and see ourselves how the positive people around us do!

And screw the haters! they are not worthy of our sexy bodies!

He gets me to wobble it or squeezes it when he’s behind.

So I’m lucky !

I feel your pain! I’ve always carried my weight on my tummy, but after three kids and weight loss it’s really not nice to look at, it’s definitely my least favourite part of my body and I’m really self-conscious if it

So many lovely comments on this thread!

Social media, air brushing / photo shop and unrealistic trash tv (to name a few) have so much to answer for in making us natural and normal women think these marks and wobbles are imperfections.

OP you have a beautiful figure

There are quite a few people who could learn from some of the people who have commented on this thread. X

Here and there

I (Hubby) am a huge fan, always have been. It holds an erotic appeal to me. I’ve found it to be an incredibly sensitive area that deserves to be lightly stroked and kissed. In my eyes it is as sexy, if not more, as any other part of a woman.

I don’t like my mum tum much. Trying to more lately though. Always helps when you have someone who will kiss your tum, make you feel good about it. I don’t have someone

Anyone touches it I usually flinch, just normal reaction as I don’t like it

Whatever people want to call them, I adore a ladies body in its natural state, it has to be appreciated, the curves, the lumps, the bumps, the tiger marks are all natural beauty, I for one would definitely be a long time kissing and taking my time to appreciate the female body.

Hope not offended anyone

Completely agree with what all the women have said on here, I hate my mum Tum too and carrying extra weight. But we all brought our kids into the world that way which is incredible

This why we’ve hidden our profile we are having a break and both trying to lose weight but I think social media, celebs, porn all has us women doubting our bodies when we should be so proud of the bodies we have, (easier said than done) and the same goes for men too not all women want muscle, personally I prefer a dad bod/beer belly.

Sexy is attitude, not shape.

Honestly, the more you can embrace the fuckit, the less *everyone* cares. If you flaunt it, I'll make a fuss of it and enjoy it with you. If you make an effort to keep it hidden, then I'll see your self-consciousness and respect it by not drawing attention to it. But really? I don't care.

That attitude = sexy thing applies to men too. If he's a bit squeamish because you've had babies and it shows, his sexiness drops through the floor, and you're entirely justified in never seeing him again, or hoofing him out on the spot.

Sweetie, you grew a human being. 3 human beings in fact! That is amazing!!

Think of what your body has been through to do that! You have been a human life support, fed and watered and kept safe 3 perfect little people. Forgive yourself for not being societies standard of "perfect". Our bodies are amazing, and we should allow them to recover and change as we get older.

My C-section scar and apron (no other way of putting it) is now a part of me. I am beautiful, intelligent and grew a human being. No matter how small I will get, it's never going to disappear and that's ok. People who judge that don't deserve my time, and they don't deserve yours either.

You are beautiful. Your body is beautiful. Remind yourself why it's there, you are amazing. It's ok to have hangups, we all have them, and your feelings are valid, but I wish you could see yourself through other people's eyes.

As a bisexual woman, I find you attractive. I would with or without the mum tum. It's ok to have these thoughts, but don't let them rule your life. Own it girl, you are amazing!

Her x

I am probably, IN THEORY, every woman`s ideal man. - I actually have a `thing` for Mummy tummies, cellulite and stretch marks. I LOVE them. I mean I positively LOVE them. No REALLY. They are the scars of life and should be worn proudly. They are what marks out a woman from a girl. Not all men like the body beautiful. Just as quite a few ladies like the old Dad Bod as opposed to the six pack.

I agree wholeheartedly, confidence is super sext. Bizarrely, despite the fact that I loathe mine, I actually love being naked and have had several comments about my confidence. I don't think they're mutually exclusive. I loathe how it looks but accept that it's part of me. It doesn't hold me back but is something I would change if I could.

I had someone not too long ago make comment on mine and I was mega pissed.

My mum tum was recycled and I do have scars but surely everyone's body tells a story. Men's just don't have to go through the extremities of carrying and delivering a child with the immediate expectations to return to a size 10 withing 20 minutes of delivery.

To be so rude isn't helping them in their bid to be God's gift to the human race.

Now this is meant in the kindest way and is for all the women saying they hate there mum tums not for anyone else who likes them, you can if it's something you want to do work on and get rid of a mum tum in most cases not all if that's something you want to do, the key is reduce your body fat content and the common mistake people think is do sit ups this will help but won't cure your better of with reverse curls, so if it is a genuine insecurity and something you want to change most decent Pts will be able to help.
