I’d really like like to attend Rios one evening, as a single man I’m a bit nervous of how I will be welcomed, can anyone offer any advice?

You'll be fine. The vast majority of other people there will be single men, just like you. Just don't be creepy towards any women there.

It really depends why you're going. Rios isn't purely a swinging place, and quite a lot of guys who go expecting that come away disappointed.

There are a lot of single guys, especially on a Friday night, and that can be quite pressuring for couples, so most keep themselves to themselves. There's unlikely to be loads of open play that you'll be invited to join - never say never, obviously. There isn't really a group play space either, unlike in, say, BGHS.

Generally speaking, it's worth treating it as a place to go and chill out, and if anything happens, it's a bonus. Be polite and non-pushy and you may find people more talkative. Generally, don't crowd people and if they're there to meet people, you'll find out.
