Not sure if it’s just me, but does anyone else feel really awkward when parking on someone’s drive when you’re invited over?!

I know that we’ll all be in the bedroom shortly, but parking on someone’s space seems like sacrilege!!!

It’s not usual that I meet at people’s homes, but if I do, I never park on their drives. I always find an alternative.

I'd probably not park on their drive anyway and just park on the street.

I don't even park on my friends / family's drive

I always park discretely a little distance. People should show some respect.

My last meet, I was so excited I couldn't park the car. I got out of the car and just told him to park it whilst laughing my head off! It didn't help that it was 10.00 in the morning and I wasn't dressed for attracting attention from the neighbours or walking down the road!

When we've visited people they often tell us to park on their drive. It's not as if we play ice cream van music and have a neon sign on the roof saying "we're swingers"

I got told that I could park outside a woman's house last week but I chose to park down a street a few minutes walk away from her house because I didn't want her neighbours thinking all sorts.

It's more of a respect thing in my opinion and I only ever accommodate when I've picked that person up and brought them back to mine

I always ask the question before a meet, where they would like me to park ! Tbh I’m that shite at parking I’ll probably be in a hedge or ditch somewhere close by anyways

Anyone arriving at mine, has a whole car park to choose from. lol.

But yes, I don't think I would park on someone's drive. Not unless they asked me to at least.

Definitely not on their drive. I usually park a few doors down on side of the road. Depending on the area really

I park wherever they're happy for me to park. I do make sure to ask about their preference before arriving though.

Same here, we’ve got a pampas grass so people know what we’re up to

I usually park on the road but if invited to parking on their drive wouldn't bother me.
