I see a lot of profiles saying that there needs to be a connection. What is this connection? Personally I’ve had some of the best sex with people I don’t fancy or even like for that matter. Surly when it comes to sex does it matter, not like it’s dating. Curious on people’s opinions

Op - you do make a good point after all this is a sex dating/meeting site - it is my opinion that there should be some chemistry / connection, not love or affection, but I feel the personalities should click - if they don't you can just walk away

However we are all different and with that in mind.......what you doing later lol

I don’t think that’s true, if in a gang bang / orgy / dark room situation there isn’t going to be a sexual attraction necessarily but doesn’t make anyone desperate just another form of fun

Still got to be some form of attraction for a one-off. Personally, I'd rather knock one out (something I'm rather skilled at! ) than just shag someone I'm not attracted to for the sake of getting laid. I'm not sure that applies to everyone on Fab tho.

I actually enjoy the social aspects, and want to enjoy being with a person and have a laugh with them.

Personality to me is as important as looks, if I'm not attracted to your personality it doesn't matter how physically attractive you are, it's not happening.

I agree. It’s more that animal instinct for me. That look you give a person / stranger and know you’re about to fuck.

I guess technically that is a ‘connection’ but not how some want it.

But that is a good point.

I've not been to one, so can't really comment, but I'm guessing the excitement of the situation gets you through.

I'm doubting when people are asking for a connection, they are referring to during gang bangs though, probably more for the one-to-one, FWB situations.

I’m one of these people who has it in my profile..So I’ll try and give my opinion..

Personally, if I’m going to meet someone (or some people) privately, I’d definitely want to know we are all going to get along, or at least increase that chance. I like to get to know peoples needs / wants beforehand and will tell them mine and found it definitely makes the meet better and less awkward! I’m also a very ‘jokey’ person, so I wanna know they’re on the same level as me! Plus I’ve made some friends for life by taking more time getting to know them..

When it comes to club meets, I totally see your point, depending on how a person plays. Ie a darkroom or gangbang situation.

However, that’s not my style so I would still look for that ‘connection’ as I wanna get along with them, have a chat, have a dance, flirt, drink etc… but saying that I could quite happily go to a club and just have a social anyway, play isn’t imperative to me so if I have to wait to find someone I get along with, that’s fine. Even if I do play, 1 is generally enough for me

Each to their own though. If we all liked the same thing, the world would be a boring place xx

Well, it does… not to everyone. We wouldn’t have sex with anyone we didn’t find attractive. To us that’s not the point. But to each their own. They also need to be able to hold a conversation too. Again, for us. Not for everyone.

I really don’t like a one off OP. Connection for me means that even without the sex aspect I would still be good friends with them in RL on personal, mental and emotional level
