Just plain rude!

Never ceases to amaze us how rude some people are. They contact us, we chat, they want to meet, we then get back to them after sorting out work rotas and then we hear nothing back!!! We don't mind if they had made other arrangements or had a better offer, but please have the decency to tell us! And to cap it off, they then have the cheek to block us??? How rude, manners and politeness cost nothing.

Right got that off my chest, now onwards and upwards. Happy swinging everyone

I sent a message to a lady who said she didn't want to meet just chat. I said fine, me too. Got a friend invite straightway. !!!!! I thought, excepted. Small bit of banter, nothing Sexual. Looked again later she'd deleted me and blocked me. How rude. Fake.

Yeah, thats whats been happening to me ever since i joined. People tell me they are up for a meet, and we chat and arrange things. And then suddenly, they block me.

we get it all the time, plus they block us! we still think it should be us blocking them, but perhaps it is to prevent us from giving them bad feedback or reporting them etc!

Yup, its rude behaviour, whilst manners and politeness cost nothing, nothing is what you are told to expect on here.

Nobody owes you a reply, manners or an explanation.

The sooner you accept this (though you don't have to like it) then the better you accept much of the attitude prevalent in the swinging scene today.

Personally, I think its sad and wrong; but there you go.

Yeah bottling it is even more frustrating

Don't mind people having second thoughts but would rather they said they were not 100% sure in the first place! Saves a lot of planning and rearranging on other other peoples part

I agree with you entirely, but just to play devils advocate why would they?

I mean the prevalent edict on here is that 'deleted and blocked' can happen at any time and is perfectly acceptable according to many here on the forums (and was expressed on this very thread by someone). Why would someone else worry about your inconvenience when they don't have to worry about manners, respect and politeness.

Its only by no longer accepting this type of dysfunctional behaviour that we can hope to affect a change in attitudes!

had this exact same situation last week, they made forst contact with us, a nice polite message, we looked at thier profile, messaged back, exchanged friends invites, chatted more for a while, they asked if we fancied meeting, we said yes and arranged a date for the weekend, we then said our goodnights for the evening and went to bed.

went to message them a couple fo days later to confirm and found they had blocked us. but also put a meet up for that specific night. one can only assume they didnt like us but were a little to up themselves to say so.

it happens.

I don't get how anybody could bottle a meet tho, it's all about the fun and meeting new people on here they obvs liked the look of your pics and went to the troble of messaging, the worst bit for me is the starting up of a bit of chit I'm rubbish at that and treat people with respect

Why was she a fake? She did what she said she was going to do...chatted with you then she clearly decided that was that...that doesn't make her a fake

A first for me ...chatted 1st thing yesterday, arranged to chat in the evening, asked hubby to look at the couples profile during the day (hubby is a better gauge on these matters) got waylaid by life and putting my boy to bed (he's an angel but heyho profoundly deaf and a little demanding at times) and missed the 7-7.30 time slot for being on line to chat AND I'M BLOCKED. I made me smile...

There are too many fragile ego's which are easily turned against others because of something said or done or, well, you get the idea.
