I got well and truly duped today. Been chatting with a female from here, she seemed OK we got on only chatted for a few days and she invited me to what I thought was her house. Turned up and someone driving past shouted out "You know thats a brothel, just be careful if your going in".

I just turned round and went back home. Funny enough her account is now hidden and can't be viewed.

Is this common on fabs or was I just unlucky and thinking with my dick instead of my head?

So you took the word of someone driving by he could have been telling the truth he could have had a grudge against her.Who knows .

Her hiding her profile does not mean it's true tho it could mean she's just annoyed or upset that she was ghosted .

Either way you won't find out now .

Yes there are fakes but usually they are easy enough to spot .

It’s a good point, the driver could have just been an ass. Worst case scenario if you had gone in and it turns out to be true. Which I would think would be obvious pretty quickly, you could have come straight back out and report the profile on fab. Just by mentioning what happened with the driver to her you’d get to the bottom of things quickly. Least then you know for certain?

Odd thing for the person to say "You know thats a brothel, just be careful if your going in".

If you already know, why bother with the warning. And if you don't, it should be obvious once you enter and then it's your choice.

If you're that credible of a stranger, why not believe what everyone on fab says about themselves?

It could have been a disgruntled neighbour who did not approve of the females activities. They may see different men going in and out, then draw their own conclusion.

The lady in question may well see this forum thread.

Why did you not just message her and ask her? You have condemned her without obtaining the facts.

Chances are she did not live in a brothel ....
