Struggling imagination

Question if one half of a relationship is the let's say naughty side with an imagination but the other half doesn't any kind of naughty imagination and expect you to come up with everything saucy and become bored of trying to everything to enlighten them to open minds?

Would being to put a strain on the relationship?

The communication is open but as the saying goes you can take a horse to water but can't force it to drink..

If shes not even willing to try what can you do?

Give up. If you've genuinely explored every avenue and you're still at an impasse then the two of you clearly aren't on the same page. I know that sounds harsh but if someone doesn't want the same things you want you can't make them

I don't know you and I don't know her. From the little I do know it sounds as if she isn't sexual in the way you want her to be. If that is the case then you're not really going to change her.

Has she always been that way?

Because if so then it's not them that had changed, so expecting them to, is unfair.

If it's a more recent change, then there may be issues other than sexual that are causing them to be less up for it.

This goes both ways and applies for relationships in general on any issue of contention. You try to workout and find a compromise. If consensus cannot be achieved for a totally non-negotiable matter for one of the parties, that's when it all goes downhill.

I think it could depend.

If one part of a couple really got off on coming up with smutty ideas to surprise the other, and the other loved being surprised continuously, then I guess it could work really well.

The fact that you're asking suggests that it's already a problem.

Maybe she's thinking "why does he want me to have fantasies and come up with ideas. Why can't he be more like me"
