This is fortunately something I no longer have to worry about.

I used to have very painful periods. Sex used to help ease the pain.

My ex husband was happy to help. He was even happy to perform oral.

I didn’t expect other partners to be that keen, but I was surprised by how many were ok with period sex.

As others have said, sex is messy when it’s really good so those that are freaked out by bodily fluids etc are not so much fun to play with.

I agree. There still seems to be an almost Victorian attitude in society - and sadly around fab - that periods are disgusting and embarrassing - something to be discussed in whispers amongst women when men aren’t around.

The same seems to go for issues around sex.

Maybe that’s why a lot of European countries view as repressed and dull?
