Ropes

I love the look of a skilfully tied body , and have always had a bit of a fascination for ropes and knots (not the only reason I like climbing)

Is the attraction the decoration or restraint

- and of course feel free to show off your skills

Neither, by definition Shibari/kinbaku should look good. The style I follow is all about connection and creating a particular emotional response in the rope bottom/ model.

For some people it is about having a pretty picture at the end, and for some it is about restraint. There are others that do it for performance, or for meditation on or one or a mixture of other reasons. Rope has more dimensions than two.

This is the first time I’m not sure you would be fun at parties.
