Just a quick and the single guys can answer this. I’m seeing it more and more, but why are single guys… having a photo of a scantily clad/ naked lady as their profile pic.

We just don’t bother even opening them up.

Where’s their imagination?

I personally think it should be against the rules. There probably shouldn't be any pictures of ladies on single guys' profiles at all... unless they can prove consent.

The same should go all around in that case for all genders.

You do have to wonder how many pictures on here are of people where they don't have a clue they're on here.

Same reason that scantily clad women have been used to many things, sex sells but in this case the audiences are women. Women like to have what others have, shoes, dresses, cars, men.

And the girls in underwear want to prove they wear underwear. So what, who cares. What people put on their profiles as sod all to do with anyone else. Quite easy to ignore. Fed up with single men being singled out to be the baddies on here.

I expect couples to have photos of them both.

However, I agree singles choosing to have an avatar that is predominantly of someone else, is strange.

Thank you bluebell

As a single man I get tarred with the same brush all the time which ain’t fair!!

I’m nice, kind, respectful of others and not pushy in anyway more the opposite!

the female pics I have on my profile are those that have asked me to do so for them(and hubby in cases).

So don’t judge what you don’t know get some perspective first.

** just scantily clad ladies? Or are they (the profile owner) In the image also?

If they are not in the image partially or completely I suspect it is not in line with the image rules so please report, for any category not just single men.

There are other people shown anonymously on my profile as they are swingers who have consented to photo sessions with me.

It’s a swinging site that, amongst other things, has been based on visual images. It’d be weird if people didn’t share appropriate images.

For me, sharing my pics is my way of showing there is some reality amongst my fantasies! I think I look good in some of them too and I hope that other people agree and are therefore attracted to me. It’s not that difficult to understand is it?

There are umpteen threads about single guys and their dick pics. Perhaps someone should start a thread about exactly what they do think a single guy should show. You can guarantee that whatever is written, somebody else will disagree!

Indeed there are.

To be fair, I find quite a few profiles choice of avatar strange. Including the swathe of disembodied penis photos.

Wouldn't life be boring if we all liked the same things.

I think the concern around photos that include others, particularly where they could be identified, is the consent aspect.

You’ve got some lovely pics on your profile, but as with any pic, the issue of consent arises. I believe they are pictures of you, but there’s no way that I can possibly hundred per cent know they are you as I don’t know you.

How can you prove you’ve got consent to use those pictures?

(For the sake of clarity, I firmly believe they are you and your pictures. I’m just trying to illustrate that there’s no real system for proving consent).

I have noticed couple's accounts only having photos of the female half but still believe should be some as a couple otherwise it indicates or can that it may be just a male account and has used female photo to attract attention.if the account is only a single account holder shouldn't be allowed to use a photo as a couple as a profile image should be some sort of restrictions.

But how do you know that the person who posted that photo is the person that’s in that photo? There are lots of photos on this site that clearly show the face, but WHOSE face? That’s the point I’m making.

It seems like some people can be trusted to post photos of themselves or others, but some people cannot be trusted. It also seems from some people’s perspective, that trust maybe influenced by the stated gender of the poster.

I doubt that her profile is aimed at you Cal. But I’m sure you follow my argument about proving consent.

Every person in my photos can say the same thing.

They knew the photo was being taken.

They agreed to its publication.

They may also publish it wherever they want as it’s anonymised and kept that way with a view to being published.

Single guys are an easy target and you are unlikely to get any recourse like you would if you targeted females couples for same offence especially female - mob band wagon pitch forks and a hanging
