Me personally I think 56 is the worst age to be on here. The number of profiles who upper age limit is 55 is huge. I’m prepared to chat to anyone above my upper age limit. We don’t change that much in 12 months surely

People have preferences but otherwise according to your logic of 55 vs 56 where do they stop?

Don’t worry about it and find people who are in to your age or who aren’t worried over age and it’s more about the people

Well as a couple in our 30s we are having less luck than a single guy we know in his 50s haha.

I guess it just depends on the person. Age is just a number.

However, men in their 20s its not normally the age its usually the terrible profile dick pic hello messages!

I think that any bloke that moans about their age, or just how hard it is to get meets on here, should search for single guys profiles that are their age, find the ones who are successful, then compare their own profile to that of the successful ones.

Be absolutely honest with themselves, and the reasons should become quite apparent.

I'm not so sure it's about age. I think it's more about people's profiles. When my wife and I had our couples profile, it was so well written with great, artistic, yet sexy photos (all done by her), so we received messages from all ages.

Now I'm on a single profile, I don't receive any mail because I haven't really (yes,I'm lazy) put any effort into my profile.

I genuinely think that people look more at good profiles than age.

I can only speak for myself but at 57 I'm doing ok. I'm currently having fairly regular fun with 2 couples and a woman who's married but her husband is happy for her to play with me.

Maybe I'm just lucky but I think if you're prepared to put in the effort of writing a half decent profile and then be patient there's a fair chance you'll get interest from women.

It is a difficult one because people of any age who look after themselves can look great, but also those that don’t look after themselves can be any age, it is all subjective, but we tend to keep our upper age limit fairly low based on general fitness of the plus 50’s, which I know is a little harsh, but as a couple we can be picky when it comes to single males.

Well I'm 48 and find a lot of ladies upper age limit is usually 45...even 47 which is so frustrating. If we even had a one shot message just to say hi and try and make something happen but the argument is there is an age limit for a reason....personally I set my upper age limit at 60 because I have known some amazing ladies in that age bracket but maybe there is a 61 Yr old woman who is utterly amazing,I'm inadvertently blocking....pah life can be tough....

My lower age filter is determined by my kids ages. It will always be 10 years above my eldest and she is about to turn 30.

I reckon, as alot of people who are that age could possibly be fake profiles or not willing to meet, however that puts a bad name on people similar age wise who are wanting to meet

My lower age filter is determined by my kids ages. It will always be 10 years above my eldest and she is about to turn 30. "

Exactly the same with mine...10 older than my son but 10 younger than my dad

The bell curve median is 35 to 40. Over four decades old and one's desirability steadily declines; under 40 and one's potential has not yet been realised.

As I am 65, I have to put in a lot of effort; the pandemic has curtailed my opportunities.

The amount of time I am prepared to invest will increase exponentially as Covid abates into 2022.

As earlier post all the "I meet older" posts are women not men, any age as long as they have a pulse no doubt.

Very few will meet older guys even though they say the will. Sorry guys after 55 your getting past FAB shag by date and on downward curve

I found this when I hit 40. I know folk have their preferences yada yada, so it does filter out a lot of what you don’t want, but it’s amusing that one day you’re a potential and the day after your birthday, you can’t even chat to them. I don’t even look 40 and I’m 42 next month. Haha

That may be your experience but as my fab journey didn't start until I turned 50 I haven't found any downward curve at all. It's exactly where I want it to be.

Not sure to be honest. Can’t say I’ve consider age as a possible issue. See a lot of profiles with different age ranges, so definitely think things will improve for you. Just keep going and you’ll meet some amazing people if not already. In my instance I tend to think (for me anyway) It’s my shortfalls in looks and lack of game is why I struggle but ultimately it could be anything really. Sorry if that not very helpful but wish you all the best fabbing

Their age limit is set from 45 - 70 so with a 25 year spread they'll get plenty of messages from those that are excluded by others.

Single women & TV/TSs have no problem getting meets no matter what age they are and what age parameters they set, or, generally, how they look.

A single man has to work much much harder to get a meet and, generally, have a decent profile. The same does not apply for a single female or a TV/TS. Many single men aren't helped by the crap initial contact they make though.

Couples are more complicated but can still find a meet easier than a single man.

I will say I find it odd how someone can be 54 and have their upper age limit as 55. Even if they do perceive themselves to be good for their age.

Our age limit is set to 70 as the men Jane finds attractive at that age are few and very far between. I, on the other hand, find lots of women in their 70s sexually attractive. Maybe we should reconsider our upper age limit

Take it from someone who feels still as old/ young as you are that on here it helps with how active… by that I mean like how observative and how often you reply or speak on cam rooms/ forums and such

I’d still just say that reading profiles, writing good introductions and not being upset by rejection is all you need.

That said, it wasn’t as much of a sausage fest when I first signed up many moons ago
