It’s a friendly club, not too large that it feels intimidating.

Has a great social area for people to mingle and chat and lots of play areas, private and open if you want to play.

Plenty of themed nights and a social event each Wednesday.

BYO alcohol but soft drinks available.

Just a chilled out and nice place to be at.

You can stay fully dressed all night if you choose, only dressing down if you want to.

Couples only on some Saturdays.

Shame that Angels in melksham has closed its doors, it would have been perfect for you. Temptstions Spa in Bournemouth is a small, very friendly club. Everyone really friendly and makes you feel totally at ease x

Our favourite is xstasia, we have been to a few around the south but we are now making the effort to travel, happy to discuss on pm rather than risk offending anyone

Not been to Xtasia (yet) but have been to many of the northern clubs and have always had a great time.

Townhouse is good for beginners as well.

Never tried a club in the south, Xtasia is as far south as we ventured clubbing and think it would be a good one for you to try

Only been to a club once which was club 29 in Leicester. A friendlier bunch of people couldn't hope to meet. Hope to be back ther again some time

Not necessarily in my experience, but I guess it depends on which clubs you've visited. Some do feel a little less inclusive.

It's all subjective really, everyone's probably going to name a different club based on their experiences. What's the best club for you depends on you and what your comfortable with . Do your research to make sure what ever club you attend you feel it's a right fit for you. There's a club section here with reviews and links to club web sites, utilize it to make an informed choice.

But having said all of that clubs are just bricks and mortar (granted some might be dressed nicely than others) what makes it are the people, so potentially you could go to the same club 5 different times and have 5 different experiences depending on who's there.

Sometime you just have to suck it and see.
