FabSwingers.com forum: Tiny bit irritating

A few times now (three I recall) I've had:

- Wink and friend invite from a couple.

- I think 'awesome'.

- I reply to say 'so nice of you to wink, am chuffed, you guys seem fab' (I use many more words in a wonderfully hand-crafted reply.

- Shortly thereafter I'm blocked.

A simple 'we winked and friended you to see your face pics but it turns out your are not for us' would have sufficed.

Bit irritating, seems a rude way to operate, but I'll survive...

maybe your being to nice? treat em mean keep em keen.

i dont take much notice of winks, i might look at their profiles sometimes.

i get friends invites from people who live the other side of the country, so dont usualy accept them. unless i want to see their pictures.

if i didnt think someone was my type after seeing their face pic, i would just say so.

You do realise that you don't have to accept a friend request just cos someone sends one!

If you haven't had any messages then perhaps a thanks for the wink mail might help test the water - if they don't reply they just wanted a perv.

I've had several of those too. Usually I send a nice message thanking them for the wink and await a reply. If I see they've read it and deleted it or it just sits in their inbox unanswered for days, I accept the friend request when they're offline, perv their pics and then unfriend them.

it happens to us all mate.

you'll get friends request from people you've never chatted or exchanged messages with because they just want to look at your private pics.

then they will block you.

dont worry about it, move on.
