Now I have been on this site and sites like this long enough to know that nothing is taken for granted, and that women have the control when it comes to communications, if they want to talk to you they will, I also respect that on the whole females on this site will be bombarded with message, winks etc and as such I try to make my profile/message more than just "Hey, lets fuck".

Recently I have noticed a distinct down turn in the mutual respect, I know not everyone of my messages will get read let a lone get a response but for those few accounts I have been chatting to quite amicably for a period of time to turn cold without so much as a word is tantamount to just being rude.

Is it that hard to say thanks but no thanks? If the women on here treat every single guy with the same caution what hope is there of getting what we all want. Luckily I have fresh memories on here of successful meets, and people who have been great to talk to without ever getting physical, but I can imagine how downhearted newbie could get if they are unfortunate enough to come across the poorer quality users on this site.

Shit happens I am afraid. I have also had the messages peter out, the messages not replied to, the prospective meets not turn up. I just move on. Although I don't blame you for having a rant - soemtimes it helps.

Yeah I never thought about it from the other side, I guess there is also a section of the male population that probably come to the site full of bravado but comes short when it is time to take things further.

Try not to take it personally, you don't know what's going on in the other person's life when you have just started chatting, there might be good reasons why they have gone off.

Or, sometimes it takes a few messages to realise that you're not really interested and it can be awkward to say "let's leave it here".

Give people a break!!
