Boston, Lincolnshire

Dress the part (no joggers our trainers)

Socialize (speak to people)

Be nice to people (Don't follow them around)

Go with zero expectations (take condoms)

Relax & enjoy yourself

We were nervous the first time we went, admittedly we went as a couple so we had each others support. We chatted to people before we went on the forums and put a status up saying we were going so at least had a some people to talk to when we got there. I understand it is easier for couples than single men on here though.

Don’t stalk or follow around if a couple or female wants you they’ll approach you. Be polite.

Smell nice!!!!!!!

As said,

If you can almost pre arrange a few friendly faces that’s great.

Go around chat, smile, make eye contact, smell nice, dress nice.

And expect nothing like has been said.

If you go to make some friends and to get over the fear of going to your first club, then you will succeed, if you get talking and something happens all the better! Some clubs have glory holes so that’s a option.

Stick with basic politeness, if a doors shut your not welcome, if a doors open knock/ make yourself known and ask if they want company, no means no! That’s all I can think of!

My suggestion is to understand that the bar areas are where most folks go to relax.

It's in those areas that they decide who's cute and fun, and they'll tell you straight if they're interested.

Be nice and friendly to everyone and it will return the effort in kind!

Go with the expectation that you are going to socialise only rather than with the aim of a shag, be polite, have a bit of personality/sense of humour, don't follow women or anyone else around with your cock out like a horny teen or stand close by staring constantly.

I've been lucky enough to have some great play sessions at clubs and also had some really nice chats that were completely platonic. Ultimately everyone is there to have a good night and I've made some good friends along the way.

Just remember that just because it's a swingers club doesn't mean you're guaranteed sex.

Let the club know its your first time. They should show you around and explain everything. Maybe give you some good advise too. Don't be afraid to ask questions. They possibly may even introduce you to some people. So if they ask you about yourself, don't be shy, let them know about you. It could help them point you in the right direction. Take the opportunity of a little help. But don't fall into the trap of using the staff as a crutch. Don't cling onto the staff for safety all night, it won't get you anywhere. Take on board any help but it's up to you to get out there and mingle.

somewhere nice

My advice would be to dress nice and smell nice and go with no expectations other than to meet new friends and have a chilled evening.

You’ll normally be introduced to people when you’re shown around a club anyway, and people will always say hi to you when they see you’re new.

Take condoms with you, but don’t put yourself under pressure to play on the first night. I’ve been going almost 4 years and there’s nights I get shy and won’t play. Most clubs are just like going to the pub with your mates, so relax and make new friends and let the fun flow naturally

Take a lady friend with you, single guys have a bit of a stigma about them.. well deserved as some guys have absolutely no idea how to act..

Act cool not desperate..

Be respectful..

Be able to hold interesting conversations that aren’t about sex ..
