I’m not a guy that gets much in the way of complements and decided that I would make sure to complement someone every day, I today had a complete stranger approach me and say she sees me all the time and thinks I’m handsome, I genuinely thought it was a setup! Does anyone else do similar? I decided to just be kind!

People are always rude, complements are sparse although I’m not upset about that because when you do get a complement it really stays with you!

Don't know about the hugh jackman comparison but dude you ain't a bad looking dude.

And I try and do a nice thing each day even if it's just holding a door or asking the lil old lady if she needs a hand in asda... one day karma will come back and be nice to me lol

Unfortunately I don’t get compliments, but I’m not drop dead gorgeous but I’m very polite and a happy kinda chap. My only problem is that I’m in my mid fifties which is too old for most people

I often get stopped and complimented because I dress differently which has spurred me to stop people and pay compliments too, always nice to see someone smile from just a few words. And as said above, you’re very smiley and if you weren’t 200+ miles away I’d have stoped for a chat if you were in my inbox

Compliments are great. It’s something my mum taught me. If you see something that’s good or you appreciate, then tell them.

I sent a compliment to someone on Twitter last night. No, it wasn’t me trying to “cop off” with them, but complimenting them on a piece of work they had done that was outstanding.

I’m the same. I send messages to others even far away. I don’t expect replies as they probably get hundreds of messages but I like to say their pics are great and they look amazing.

My complement today was to a girl I see frequently on my run….she always smiles and says hi, I said Thankyou for always saying hi as I get nervous when I see women alone in the woods because I never know if it’s appropriate to say hello, she laughed and said she feels upset when we miss each other lol
