Rubber/Latex wear for men.

I've always been into my femme look (obviously) but I'm tempted to dip my toe into the gay rubber scene.

As I'm only small & generally struggle to find clothes that fit, who does smaller sizes, and what sort of look do guys like?

It depends what you like or what you want in the latex rubber clothing, the sizing shouldn't be a problem to find, they make it in every size imaginable. Google is your friend for finding out, but getting the right size can vary from place to place, the only way is trial and error unfortunately

I know the sort of things I like a guy in, but I've no idea what others like.

A sub masculine look is what I'm thinking, as a change from my femme persona.

Maybe something with a zip at the back for access.

Its when yoi try to find anything over xl that is a bugger.

Rugby type build like me....well its either double the price or weeks for a mtm

Search for Catasta Charisma for some very good books on making latex clothing. They explain techniques for piecing together and pattern making very well. They also offer some patterns for hoods, leggings and accessories.
