I have just been asked to meet up with a woman I've been chatting too (and teased) for a while. She gave me her address and so I got a taxi across town. When I arrived at the address she gave me she wouldn't answer her phone , text or inbox message , is it jut me or has anyone else experienced this?

Are there any genuine swingers out there? Xxx

That's awful!! And it's single men that get the bad name!! I never give out my address u til about half hour before the meet, mind you I've never had a bad experience yet, touch wood xx

Happened to us as well! We drive quite a way on a hot sunny day for a meet, mrs buff dressed like a whore, lol, only to be totally blanked when we got there!

Needless to say we reported him!

Ended up having a pub grub! Mrs B got a few looks from guys at the pub to say the least!

Thanks for the supportive messages means alot, it is hard enough as a single male ESP with stigma that comes along with it.

I find it frustrating trying to meet genuine swingers on here lately as alot of the males are not swingers and just want easy lays oh well comes with the territory I suppose. X

Happened to me too. Had a 60 mile drive for the same result. She gave me the postcode for her street and said to call for the house number when I arrived. Texts, messages, calls right up until the point i turn up. At least it was the company's fuel I used.

And single guys get the bad rep.

Do you have any tips for safe meeting?

Don't forget that the only person responsible for your safety is you, so don't put yourself in a situation where a stranger can let you down. These are some tips to help:

* Don't give strangers your home phone number, your usual mobile number or your address or let them know where you work. Buy a spare PAYG SIM for your mobile and use it for initial contacts.

* Don't rely on strangers for transport, so don't agree to go somewhere in a car with someone you don't know.

* Don't turn up to strange addresses without having met the people you're expecting, first, beforehand.

* Always meet first somewhere safe and public (a cafe) first.

* Always tell someone you trust who you're going to meet, and where.

* Don't arrange meets without having spoken to the people you're expecting to meet first on phone OR on seen on cam.

* Don't invite strangers into your home.

* Don't put yourself in a situation where if someone doesn't turn up, you'll be upset. So don't travel 100s of miles and book into a hotel in the expectation of meeting someone unless you've met them beforehand.

Attending an organised social or a swinging club meet is a good place to start.
