Reporting anyone to admin merely gets you blocked from seeing their profile. I reported stolen pics once on here, I was instantly blocked from seeing the offending profile yet a friend could still view the pics and profile for months after.. so doubt they’d be taken off Fab for the sake of keeping up the numbers..

I'm making the assumption as your profile is 3 weeks old and it doesn't say you've been here before that you're new to Fab.

The fake couples profile prey on inexperienced newbies. You'll spot them easily enough eventually, you'll develope a tingle-like spider sense when their mail drops in your inbox

You can usually tell most of the time. The type of men who are sad enough to do that sort of thing have a very specific way of talking when there's nobody to reign them in and it becomes quite obvious.

Certainly something you learn over time though, which makes it difficult for newbies and probably puts a lot of them off if they experience it early on :/

The give away for verified is couples where only the guy plays. Not saying they're all fake, but we'd say most that say that are.

Yes 100%! We are pretty new to this but quickly learnt to ask via Kik etc for a quick photo / video of them doing something specific just to prove it’s not some weirdo with a load of pictures saved on their hard drive! Amazing how quickly they totally stop responding!!!

Yes. They may be real couple and it's ok for anyone to fantasise as long as that doesn't extend to lying about their intentions and stringing other people along to get something else. If that's their game they're far harder to detect but my guess would be that there are relatively few genuine couples who are timewasters here. More often, it's either a single guy or the male half of a couple (in which the female has no knowledge or interest), pretending to be a real swinging couple.

Of course, refusing to chat/cam doesn't in itself make anyone guilty of anything but for us it would ring a big alarm bell and we'd walk away at that point, especially if all they wanted to do was exchange filty messages.

We get a lot of couples profile where it is only ever the guy chatting and says the wife doesn’t come on much. I suspect they are a genuine couple a lot of the time but the woman doesn’t know they have a profile or her pics are all over here.

There are so many fake couples profiles now it's getting out of hand.

As previous posters have said after a while they're pretty easy to out after chatting for a bit.

I try to go for profiles that are site supporters, photo verified and have verifications. That cuts a lot of them out.

We haven’t been on here long and I’m still getting to grips with it, adding photos and actually checking it!

We are 100% genuine though

No verifications shown on the profile..but that doesn't mean they've not met

Not photo verified..again not every genuine couple is but a major thing for most people as its so easy to do

Can't accommodate..again not every genuine couple can

The message was the 'straight' male wanting to suck my cock

But it didn't seem right to me

I don't get many messages from couples but I do think I can judge the genuine from the fake

And yesterday ticked every box of a sad single male guy wanking off

You will always get many more messages from men. Once you get chatting to couples you can usually tell. We often ask to move to kik as it’s easy enough for both to have an account and we can chat as a four. Could still be one person I guess but I’m sure you would soon tell. If people aren’t sure they can always arrange a phone call or a quick video call. If people want to get to know you there are ways to check if you are genuine. Once you get a verification it will help a lot. Good luck x

I think part of the problem is we give people the benefit of the doubt.

We hope this time something may come of it so we engage with them ultimately to be disappointed.

Lots use the forum have fake pics of display and it's wise to reserve search them.

in my experience this is mostly men I'm sad to say which doesn't do good guys any favours.

All you can do is not take it to heart, you've done nothing wrong and I know the frustration with it and wanting to meet exciting people. But with anything in life their is a risk.

I have had 2 awful experiences with couples 1 black mailing me and another really bad social with the hubby pressurising me to make a move, it really made me take a step back from meeting but certainly understand you can’t take past experiences into future connections. So many on here seem such lovely people and I’m taking time on the forums to get to know some from a distance and can only hope our paths cross sometime.

Yeah we have had this problem a lot and have had other issues. What we had to do was either the females speak on the phone together or do the random thing in a photo with the female. Regarding Kik we had to dump the accounts for both of us as some of the male half’s of the couple kept trying to meet separately. It’s a case of the minority ruining it for the majority.

The female halves of couples on Fab are the unluckiest people in the world… the number of them who have to suddenly work late, get ill, lose childcare or have a family emergency is unreal.

The bloke is never affected by said sudden emergency though.

I got called a nosy fat cunt a few weeks ago by a guy when I said “I’m surprised she didn’t want you with her” when his wife was suddenly unavailable for our three way phone call after her mother had a terrible accident and she had to go to say her goodbyes as she wasn’t expected to make it (so the wife likely wouldn’t want to play for a while…)

Ask to talk to both and have them reply separately. I'm fairly sure I dodged a bullet from a "couple" where when I requested this, "she" expressed herself in exactly the same ways as he did, right down to the same adverbs and spelling mistakes.

Shame because they had good pics and sounded the part. Could be they were genuine and just so attuned that they spoke the same language but I got a "not with a bargepole" vibe after the initial very good one, and binned it.

I've recently been accused of being fake, not the first time in the eleven years I've been on Fab.

But this time, this angry male individual actually thinks the many verifications of the friends that have verified me have on their profiles are also fake.

It got to the point where this creep not only reported me, but also the friends that have verified me.

It gets worse, he has listed on his profile that I'm a fake......it's driven me to the point where I'm not comfortable being on the site anymore.

We're still not meeting anyone for now but when we feel comfortable doing so again we'll expect to do that with the guy in question or just move on.

We always swap live kik vids straight away to verify we're all real. Amazing how many genuine profiles disappear the moment it's mentioned. Some of them may be real people, but just fantasising.

that's also a tactic of thirsty guys which can dry up the wettest of clams

So frequently that I don't believe couples are couples until I've spoken to both. 5 times I can remember off hand I've had a couple arrange to meet and when I've arrived his wife just happened to get called into work 20 seconds before I got there

This does happen Jane.

I've been a victim of a hate campaign too so I understand the damage it can do.

I have no answers, but for a while I was meeting people and not showing verifications to stop the haters contacting people I'd met.

Yes, too many times.

Once we were in a hotel in Farnborough and put a meet up, three "couples" messaged us and all three had an excuse of why it was the guy only who wanted to meet.

Always we make sure the ladies chat on the phone first, would not even consider doing it any other way now.

Come across a number of couples profile where the man is the only one playing and the wife isn't mweting anymore.

Yet you report the profiles and nothing is done by admin except they block the profile from yours.

Number of single lady profiles where they have many validations with their man playing too.

Unfortunately nothing you can do about it.

They are easy to spot. Just block them and forget about.

I always like to chat to the other female over the phone before we arrange anything. Normally that gets rid off any guys looking for wank fodder.
