Advice please.

I’m currently a single guy who would never cheat on a partner and believe in total honesty in a relationship. As well as enjoying myself on Fab, I’ve just joined a ‘normal dating site’ – hoping to find love, romance and eternal happiness.

Once I’ve met someone with potential, I will not continue swinging until I have told them about ‘my past’ and asked if they would like to join in. (If they say no, I will retire from swinging).

My question is this: How soon should I tell anyone I meet? I don’t want to scare them off in the early days but also don’t want to keep secrets for too long. Thoughts or your experiences welcome.

You may not have to tell them - if they express a desire for a monogamous relationship, and you agree, then that is your course from that point forwards. Until anything may change it otherwise.

No-one has a right to know everything from a partner's time before they were around, or indeed about another person. If - and this may not happen - you both agree to be sexually faithful, then you're no longer in the swinging world, as such.

Over the course of time, we do normally let our shield's down, and reveal more and more about us. It may happen that your sex lives will open up too, and you'd resume swinging.

If you're looking for a partner who will swing with you, then you could also influence how you search for a partner.

you got a better chance of getting a shag on a dating site than here, they just dont broadcast it on a dating site or the real reason they are there, i get loads of interest on a dating site, but not here, that sums it up for me
