Anklet in public

Is it acceptable to approach someone wearing an anklet in public.

This evening I saw a woman with a wedding ring and an anklet on her right leg.

I smiled at her and said "I like your anklet", she looked at me confused but politely said thank you.

I obviously walked away.

Thought this was a well known thing or am I wrong??

That’s a big wedding ring lol

Maybe she just likes her anklet but at least you were polite and doesn’t assume anything I’m sure if she was a hot wife and you were her type then she might have responded differently

nothing wrong with your approach . If she was wearing it as it is known in the lifestyle and she would have fancied you she probably would have signalized it, otherwise she always has the escape of the anklet being a fancy piece of jewelry

I have a range of anklets that I wear most of the time. If I have a plain one on as in day to day life I would not want to be approached because of it. However on a night out I usually have either a HW or Vixen anklet I don't mind it being mentioned

I wear an anklet because I've had leg infections that have left my leg scarred. An anklet; to me, is just a little something pretty to help me feel good about it all.

Is it ok to approach someone wearing a short skirt, a low cut blouse, topless on a beach, or naked on a naturist beach? Of course it isn't. What a woman chooses to wear or not wear is not a signal to you or any predatory man that she's available.

Unless it's a large badge that says "Free fucks! Just ask me. Always available"

I would take that as a sign she's approachable.

C wears an anklet which I bought her which is relevant to us, not to anyone else. She doesn’t wear it to signify anything…some people wear things because they want to.

I wouldn’t approach anyone with an anklet on unless I was in an environment which they may want to be approached, which I can only think would be a club.

Anklets are just anklets.

Unless it has cuck or hotwife symbols attached.

Even then they may not like the look of you, even hotwives can be picky.

Kama has been wearing an anklet for years and we did not know what is that mean. For her it was a nice piece of silver or gold.

The question is if any anklet means hot wife in swinging world or it must be HW or 3some symbol ?

"Women should be able to wear or not wear what they want without this shite."

What shit?

There is a problem with this thread in that there are specific anklets such as the HW or the three symbols for male female male that are telling the world the wearer engages in sex with multiple males, there are also anklets signifying innocent love, good luck etc and also other anklets that have no particular meaning.

B wears her MFM anklet to actively encourage men to approach her and this has happily led on to full sex at a mutually convenient time with some who have. Approached her. Men can and do know how to complement a woman who is indicating she is open to be approached without causing offence.

We are all adults and as adults have a right to act as we want within the law without being insulted by others.

Reminds me of the time I approached a young couple in their car at a local dogging spot. I’d never done it before so walked up to the window, she wound the window down… looking confused, I realized quickly they were just, you know, parked up.

I played it cool - told them I was undercover police and to watch out for carjackers in the area….

The things you do when you’re young, stupid and totally caught on the hop

Wow ! I'm shocked by several people's reaction on this thread. The OP wasn't rude in anyway. Complimenting someone on their jewellery was a subtle and appropriate comment and he acted sensibly immediately the person responded. Stunned that people freak out that a man talked to a female.

We would suggest if anyone is not sure what the gender or sex symbols are they should google gender symbol.

These are symbols used in livestock breeding for decades to distinguish males and females in stock.

If therefore a woman wears a bracelet or more likely an anklet with two male symbols and one female symbol or two female symbols she is sending the world an indication of her preferences.

It is perfectly acceptable in adult conversations to mention her anklet or bracelet, just like one could any other jewellery, that is what happens in social interaction.

It seems to me some here are taking a very infantile approach to immediately think and man would see the two male, one female anklet and instantly think the could then ask her for sex.

In adult conversation a lady's hat, shoes, or even her general dress etc. are always open to polite comment, we would suggest it says more about the individual who instantly assumes otherwise.

I don't think anyone has said that there is anything at all wrong with a man talking to a female. What many think is wrong is a man talking to a female he thinks is an easy pull under the assumption she's a potential fuck because she wears a particular piece of jewellery that he thinks is a secret sexual message to him.
