Well, some of them are married, in a committed relationship, exclusive fuckbuddies, etc etc.

And a few (a very small few, hopefully) like to roll the dice.

No idea, someone I chatted to had a scare last week, girl he'd seen tested positive for Chlamydia despite being careful, and after she'd been with him she'd had a gang bang... So I dread to think how many more people she had to msg.

It's really not worth the risk in my eyes, and then for some of us there's babies to worry about!!

Do those who chose to not use condoms get any of the Hepatitus/Hpv injections, or use Prep as a precaution?

People will make their own decisions on how to play. Sometimes all rules go out the window when a steamy, adenaline fueled session is happening.

I think instinct and intuition on play partners are a key factor as well before taking the step, as well as regular testing.

For an outdoor meet its condoms, sun block, baseball cap, sun glasses, face mask, rigger boots, hi-viz, ear defenders and a pair of marigolds. Not playing safe, just like dressing up.

Seems nowadays that asking people to wear a face mask and respect personal space is asking to much, so why be so risk averse when it comes to sex?

I have had the snip so she ain't on the pill, so we use condoms for what the were originally intended (no babies)

I think this topic must have been the first on any Fab forum and it almost always goes the same way. No to bareback or yes to bareback; saints and sinners. If however it is looked upon as a simple matter of risk to life and limb it is a little more interesting.

IF, you attend a STI clinic regularly, as you should whether or not you use condoms, then no TREATED STI these days is going to kill you and very few cause any serious harm. Not even HIV AIDS. [I know the treatment is onerous but we are talking risk here.]

Alternatively you will find on Fab smokers demanding condoms when their chances of dying of cancer are around 1 in 5. Bike riding has a far higher risk of death and injury, rock climbing, driving, obesity, alcohol abuse and so on.

So why is there such a preoccupation with STDs? Well it is, I would suggest, the embarrassment factor. It is easier to tell friends and relatives "Tony is a paraplegic because he had a motorbike accident" than "Charlie has 3 small warts on his ball sack from a STI."

I would also hazard to suggest that those facing the greatest risk from the ill effects of untreated STDs are those who wear condoms and consequently decide to NEVER get tested at a clinic and are thus unaware they have a STI. The "sinners" at least find out and get treated and can act accordingly whilst infectious.

So each to their own. You assess the risks and rewards and make your own choices but I suggest you do so on the basis of a realistic risk assessment and not one coloured by the social acceptability of the risk occuring.

[Footnote - I know there are condom wearers who get tested. I know there are barebackers who have never caught a STI. I know circumcised cocks are much less likely to become infected, etc etc. I was discussing the risks involved and why the apparent fear of a STI is disproportionately high.]

As a married couple obviously we play bareback together. Like a few people above we do that because it just feels nicer. Me personally, I don’t like condoms because I lose feeling but I fully understand the necessity of them when playing with others. We would always abide by other people’s wishes. If they insisted on condoms I would never question it. It is down to personal choice, just be careful.

Im a student nurse and I spent a placement working in a sexual health clinic. Seeing first hand the physical and mental effects that catching/passing on sti's has on people is all the eye opening I need.

Long term relationships and regular trusted arrangements are a different thing but first meets and one offs we'd never go with out.

We use protection when fucking other people and we still get tested monthly (the home kits make it so simple these days) I wonder how many people who arent using protection actually do get regular tests rather than just saying they do ?

Personally we strictly only play with others using condoms for full sex (as a married couple with each other obviously we dont). We also take notice if people are into bareback on Fab to if interacting with them and will generally avoid barebackers.

We get tested every 6 weeks if we have been actively swinging to..as we are fully aware of risks via oral etc.

I will say if either of us was in a committed long term fwb deal with regular testing, condom use might be a different scenario but the chances of that happening are very remote..and that certainly doesn't qualify us as barebackers.

Surely it’s down to common sense and respect for those you play with. It’s been so long now I can’t even remember what bareback feels like. However if I was in a trusted exclusive fwb arrangement I would go bare of course.

I'm with those who believe you have to assess the risk and your own feelings about the people you meet and whether you can trust them, especially when they claim to have had few partners.

I play bareback with the couple I've been seeing for a while and that's worked fine, but I would be very hesitant to do so with anyone new.

Hopefully people have been vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B plus HPV. They could have ‘on-demand dosing’ of PREP to reduce any risk of HIV infection. But as for everything else, open and exposed.

Like most I do prefer bare back, but never ever would I go bare back at the start.

granted, once a friendship and trust is built I may do. But that’s my choice!

After being in the scene for sometime and reading/learning from professional health care professionals, it’s not always the common STDs you should be worried about. That’s what made my choice not to bare back.

Before covid I saw a small number of people going bare back, who I knew had just met. Before I’d have said something, but now think it’s their choice and their responsibility.

As it’s been said before, it’s your body, your choice. Live it they way you want to!

These forum posts are just make us laugh. We are quite honest on our profile about playing bare and the reason why. We get tested monthly using the free online NHS kits and in 30 years have never caught anything.

It always surprises us just how many times we are messaged by couples and the occasional single ladie who say they love bb despite what it says on their profiles!

All you anti bb people who try to ram your views onto others, need to just step back. You are simply bullying others by trying to impose your views on them when you can simply press the block button. Perhaps even ask yourself if you should be on this site at all if you are so worried about catching something!

According to the docs you are almost as likely to catch a sti from oral sex but how many of us ask for a dental dam or use a condom for that?

Please feel free to block us from your profile, it is amazingly simple to do

If two couples trust each other and are regularly tested, BB is fine; 'trust' in this instance infers that the matter of BB penetration (anal, vaginal or both) or oral stimulation without condoms, etc., has been thoroughly negotiated and discussed, and reassurances given that other casual encounters are protected.

There are no guarantees, but if both couples prefer BB, there has to be a degree of commitment.

Regular sexual health checks confirm cleanliness and so long as your circle of friends also play in this way unprotected is fine. Prep is also advisable. Medic x

I don’t judge, I just play my way. But your comments are not accurate and if you are saying this stuff to other people you may be putting them at risk.

Not all STIs are treatable. Some stay with you for life.

Prep is useful for people exposed to hiv. If you haven’t been exposed why are you on it? It offers no protection to any other STI.

There’s no way to know who may be infected. They may not know themselves. So being careful is as much use in safe sex as withdrawing is in pregnancy prevention.

Maybe they choose to use Prep and visit the Sti clinic regularly?

Unless you use condoms and dams for oral too then you are not immune!

You should be going to the STI clinic whether you do BB or not. Are you saying you never go because you are safe sex only?

From a risk point of view, if the generally harmless (if treated) sti diseases fill you with such dread what steps do you take to avoid the big killers in life? Smoking, alcohol, influenza, bicycling, motor bikes, hanggliding, contact sports, flying, etc etc.

Remember it is quite reasonable for you to wear a condom with a new female but not realise she has ebola!

free will. Human choice. Risk assessed. It’s a turn in. It feels better. You don’t know the relationship of that people involved.. Etc etc etc.

And for crying out loud.. everyone.. you should all be on PrEP.

Taht you be the question. Are you on PrEP? If not why not.

Two things.

PrEP = cannot catch HIV from others.

HIV+ undetectable = cannot transmit HIV to others.

anyone who Is one of the above is safer than someone whose tested every 3months.

FACT.

I’m straight out asking people I meet. Have you been tested. If so when. I’ve got emails and text from my test results I’ll show.

I think when it comes to pictures then some could be with long term partners so don't be too quick to judge.

But in the end I can see the appeal, it feels better and they may be prepared for the risk.

We can only hope people are informed and make their choices, we don't have to join them.

Given the stats, 1 in 10 of us are carrying type 2 herpes, that's the nasty genital one not the still quite nasty oral one.

Given that's an average of the whole adult population it's going to be higher in the swinging community, which suggests that quite a lot of people on this thread will have it!

There are only two reasons for bareback sex . One is it feels natural and the second is some guys can't get erection with a condom.

I think if you want something longer term, with mutual exclusivity and trust there's no issue with bareback.

A hubby wanting to watch his wife filled with cum is fine, if you can limit the risk to a level you find acceptable.

A test is just that, a test.

It lets you know what you have or haven't got.

Nobody has really mentioned precautions taken before playing with others or after.

People are free to play however they want, its their choice.

I think the issue is, how safe can you play bareback?

One mans standards of safe, may not be the standards of the people they play with, either hygienically, sexually or physically.

You'll never stop people playing bareback, but common sense should prevail. Alas, in the heat of the moment, many standards and guidelines are dropped.

This is why the preventative measures should be taken at clinics with jabs and check ups.

Just do what you do, but do it safely

Partially correct. Mean incubation periods for BBVs is 12 days. Therefore one should get tested a days 11 to 14 after your last unprotected sex. Viral load will then be at its peak if you have anything.

It was a huge step to allow a bull to bareback my ex, we only entrusted one guy as he remained exclusive to us and it seemed pretty safe to us, I used a condom which only enhanced the cuckold element. Whilst people do take precautions and get regularly tested do they also wish to see confirmation that other parties have also or continue taking further risks.if all parties involved have been regularly testing I myself would say that it's ok but not something I'd do as in bareback unless in a committed relationship

This is one of the main reasons for some people doing bareback, the latex allergy is a BS reason.

Can understand cuckold cpls getting into it as the cuck likes the clean the cream pie .

If I can't get erection due to condoms then I would stop swinging completely but won't risk as it's not worth it .

before i add my so called say i play safe unless with a long term boyfriend...

ive done plenty of voluntary work for sexual health and it amazes me most of the people ive seen that get tested play bare you hardly ever see people who play safe for regular testing ... condoms make it safer not 100% safe.

now see lots talk about oral and rightly so because its a risk but nearly everyone for gets about foreplay touching inserting touching again this will spread tings too ...we all know from covid and hand washing yet no one is talking about fore play .... something simple like a woman wanking a guy off and fingering herself will do the same thing as going bare ...

why are you hollier than holly who preach safe sex not getting tested ? yet for all we know you could be those that carry a sti id rather have fun with a barebacker that gets tested every 4 to 6 weeks that a play safe person who never gets tested ..

we are both tested every 6 weeks and if not playing every 12 to 18 weeks

people sould look after themselves and whats going on in there own bubble not what others are doing

PrEP is medication which prevents the person taking it from contracting the HIV virus.

It is just one pill a day and has been proven to be more effective than condoms in preventing HIV transmission.

People taking it get a full sexual health screening every 3 months when they collect their next lot of tablets.

If you trust someone, say a wife or couple and its all been agreed and everyones safe then why not . You can see someone a couple of times and when it becomes regular theres trust there so why not . I get just random one off meets for just a quick fuck can be a bit of flipping a coin tho , unless everyones been tested before and shown proof . Cant beat bareback sex as long as its done trustingly and all bases are covered . Just my opinion anyway guys .

"I prefer bare, it feels much better and condoms cause me dryness and irritation making sex uncomfortable, even latex free. I get tested monthly and have never had a STI, I'm honest with all my partners, our risk to take xx"

Totally agree!! I LOVE bare, it’s just so much better sex, and as long as it’s an honest up front convo totally our own risk assessment!! xx

Didnt the last thread like this turn into a rant about imigrants bringing diseases over? Mod locked it pretty much then and there. Not from this OP mind.

I dont get it. You do you. They can do them. Just dont fuck them? Feels like another 'look at these stupid and probably sti ridden people' thread

"Hi guys

Just strolling and reading the comments about BB,

Sorry for me I rather safe sex and wear condoms. Unfortunately for me every time I put one on and it and my cock goes limp and wonder if it the condom or my mind? I would play BB if I know and trust the person.

Sorry for my ignorance what Prep !? Few people writing down this and never heard of it ?

PrEP is medication which prevents the person taking it from contracting the HIV virus.

It is just one pill a day and has been proven to be more effective than condoms in preventing HIV transmission.

People taking it get a full sexual health screening every 3 months when they collect their next lot of tablets.

"

Ah thank for that info… just google it and now understand it now

Does an sti clinic need advertising?

Nasty people and nasty habits

I went on a first date with a girl I worked with had a great first date and in the end she wanted to have sex with no condom. Killed all the attraction. Lord knows how many times she's done the same in the past

Bareback does feel 100% better but we only play safe, until we really get to know someone

I'm planing on loosing my anal virginity in the near future and I want to experience the feeling of his throbbing cock explode, filling me with his warm creamy cum.

Agreed. We know the risks and it’s our own choice.

Imo totally irresponsible. Bare sex and cum inside ect should only be performed with long term partners (again just my opinion and basic knowledge of keeping safe and respecting situations and possibilites)

I believe that 95% of people on here are taking rubbish. They say in public safe only to look good but in reality they don't carry condoms etc.

I get quite a few meets and visit clubs etc. It's extremely rare for a guy visit and bring a condom, the same at clubs, most guys don't use condoms.

Perhaps I just meet the wrong kind of guy and visit the wrong kind of clubs??

I enjoybeing fucked bare and I visit a clinic regularly and have all the jabs etc. I obviously lead a risky life, what with riding motorcycles as well.

"Not judging people either

Life's short enough

And after reading about someone who on a course of pep, (I think that's what's they said ) and he's got to tell he's wife ,

Agree it's there choice "

Thats different. That is deciding to exclude a partner.... for whatever reason..... and gettimg caught out.

Thats a decision one makes where you need to decide how it affects those intimate with you. And if you dip and pass on an STI to someone who hasn't consented then that have every right to be pissed at you.

If your a couple and are happy with that decision then that is an assessment they and the people they interact with have made.

Disease can be caught in so many ways... it isnt all about STIs. But still we live on

I think it is important to know if partners are into bareback so participants can make informed decisions. Its fair but as said. Many dont.

Many will skin up for penetrative sex or anal but will suck a cock and take cum unskinned. This protects them how.

Ultimately its there choice and others opinions don't count unless you are or become involved.

Why do people smoke, drink, take , shove up their nose or use crack or heroine.

Doesnt stop them doing it no matter how much fuckwittery is involved....

Why? Do you expect everyone to have STI’s?

Lingfield

After I was divorced and before I met Jane, my sexual preference was to date men( less complicated creatures and my ex had definitely put me off conventional relationships)

I started off playing safe for anal but one intoxicated night went bare and the feeling of being cum in was overwhelming. I was terrified that I'd be dead in a week from all these awful diseases but after a week I was still alive, Hallelujah to the gay sex god!

So, not feeling so great about myself after a horrible divorce i was on a bit of a self destruction mission and did a lot of bareback, like absolutely lots and lots, sometimes more than once a day. I was too embarrassed to visit clinics, I would have to divulge my lifestyle and shameful behaviour. Eventually though, I did go, and I wasn't persecuted or judged, in fact, they didn't give a shit. It turns out it's ok to have gay sex, you don't go to hell for being bisexual.

So, hep hpv vax's and prep is the way forward and regular testing. The home test kits are brilliant. However, it's your body, fuck bare or cover up... just don't be ashamed.

Fortunately Jane loves bareback as much as I do, if not more. Match made in heaven eh

You want answers? Simple answer below.

People do make their own choice on bareback etc. Since AIDS is no longer a killer most TREATED STIs are less harmful than other common diseases. The physical risk is also less but the stigma of a STI still strikes fear into the heart of many.

There are STIs that have no symptoms so, in truth, you do not know you have them and you may already have them. However even the most common STI, chlamydia, can cause damage so you should be tested regularly if you are having sex with anyone at all.

Prep is a pretreatment that acts to prevent you getting HIV-AIDS.
