I imagine people take a peep and decide not to engage in conversation. Be they ill mannered or be they not, that's how they choose to play it. SIMPLE!" see this is where we are going to disagree.... all a wink tells me is that you managed to find the wink button.. nothing more.... and as for a reply... when i was unemployed a while back I wish I had a reply for every job application I made... but I figured that they would only get back to the ones they were interested in taking it further with.... so if that is what happens in the real world, why would "here" be any different.... if I sent you a message, and you never got back... I would take that as a no... brush myself down and move on..... simple as... unless you are now saying you reply to everything?.... do you reply to every flyer that comes thru the door? after all they are providing a service you may need eventually... just not now!  | |||

Simple as that!" When I had a couples profile I used to reply to every message, even those that seemed to have not read our profile, after all manners cost nothing. Trouble is, as our _iewing fab time became shorter we didn't want to enter into conversation with everyone, so even though we would try to reply politely we found that also was not good enough at times. We each use the facilities fab offer us our way, as do you choosing to delete winks and ignore those that seemingly have not read your profile in detail. | |||

Saying no 30 times a day is not the real hardship it's the fact that it leads to more messages from the person you have said no to. Some will be polite and some will be utterly uncalled for rude. Those that you have said no also then send the same message through the next day, because you replied and the site does not then give them the 'stop, think again' message. Blocking is not my first choice but I have found that blocking stops some but not those with multiple profiles who then choose to respond to being blocked with something rude. Plus the threads that come up about how rude we all are for blocking. So I choose to be polite by not opening those messages that I can the first three words turning me off and then delete them and I just delete the majority of the others now. A bit like ignoring a bill. | |||
