Bideford

Lets be honest if you enjoy camping in this country then you enjoy camping in the rain. No matter when you go its likely you will be effected by rain at some time.

I just spent a week camping in Wales and the weather did nothing but rain. I love it at night, it sends me off to sleep beautifully. xx

I do, and in the snow too, been there, done that, got pics to show etc...

My tent is cotton canvas pyramid with a ZIG and is weather/storm resistance, and very cosy.

The sound of rain hitting the canvas is very relaxing to me, except when I am trying to sleep.

Still have another 2 trips to go this year, one in mid Oct and one over the New Year weekend, can't wait!

Yes, quite enjoy being in bed in the caravan, with the rain pouring down.

Even better when there's a lady lying next to me, after all what else is there to do?

:D same here, something about the rain hitting the tent that just zonks me out in no time, some of the best nights sleep i have is when its raining

mind you, it helps if u have a tent that doesn't leak hehe

There's nothing wrong with being snuggled up in a sleeping bag - as long as you can be quiet lol
