Right ladies, I have lots of aftershave but wear each one for different occasions … I’ve always been told I smell incredible when I wear Jean Paul gaultier ( JPG ) so always wear it on nights out and meeting women etc.

Tell me, what aftershave instantly turns on the attraction switch for you?.. would be fun and interesting to know.

Men’s aftershaves these days a very overwhelming. When I walked into a bar (pre lock down) it was an absolute assault on the senses ! Perhaps I am getting old…….. but guys these days smell like a tarts handbag!

Still wear Creed Aventus occasionally, was the only choice up till about 3 years ago, but became a bit too popular. 10 years ago you could only buy it in Selfridges and the amount of comments it got were unbelievable and as dear as it is, a little goes a long way. These days it's mostly Tom Ford, either Noir or Orchid for everyday use and Vanilla Fatale for nights out.

Stays on clothes forever too!

As an avid aftershave collector I’ve been told that Creed Aventus and Original Santal are the ones that my dates like the most. Although with some of the others I layer one on the other. Like a mix of say Aventus with something a bit different like Oud.

Well easy, jean paul gaultier. Never once not pulled with it. Women will literally follow you if they get a whiff of it.

However the morning after it stinks to high heaven. As soon as I’m home the clothes are straight in the wash, that’s how bad the smell is afterwards. If they fixed that, it will be the best ever

I've always thought that this is subjective, on the sense that not all aftershaves smell the same on different people. Differences in skin tones and make up and all that.

I forget what it was, but years ago I tried one that smelt lovely in the bottle but was apparently bloody awful on me

Hence I tend to stick to XS as that one's reasonable on me

Creed Bois du Portugal is my fave, tried their Viking but went back to BdP. Savage is next down my smelly ladder, then Guilty from Gucci. I've got some Issy, Million and Spice Bomb too. I love aftershave and even still use while working from home, it sets me up for the day.

That's a great idea, selling empty Creed bottles.. I'll try that!
