Measuring the 'little general' with a beer can.

Quick tip chaps.

When sending unsolicited photos of your pride and joy using a beer can to proudly illustrate the size of said pride and joy in relation to said beer can..Please ensure your pride and joy is at least half the length of said beer can or it just looks daft.

If in doubt dont send that photo!.

I've seen them measured by drinks cans, phones, tv remotes - anything that can be of uncertain size.

How come nobody ever has the brilliant idea of measuring it with a rule.....!

Maybe that's too simple (or just too truthful!)

Could measure the girth with calipers

Trouble is if you write the measurement down on a scrap of paper and then give it the bloke in the plumbing department at B&Q instead of what you're really looking for, he might just tell you they don't do wastepipe in that size!

ive measured mine against a sky remote then links the site where it gives the specs of the remote to inform people of size and i mean a lot of people have sky+ now days lol

Just got a image in my mind of a guy with a small will measuring it up against a beer can and it only just passing the ring pull then measuring it against a water butt....dont ask why I thought of one of them. A bucket maybe but why on earth would my brain think of a water butt!

I choose not to measure mine! so many people ask me what size is it, and i just dont care.

Its not like i can change the size of it. Im happy with what i got. And it aint about the size, its the impact! lol hahaha
