Read a message but don't delete!!!

Just wondering. if a couple or single lady reads a message you sent them, and says on there profile delete if we don't like! But they don't delete but don't get back to you! What's it mean haha!! Or am I being thick haha

Not always together, work etc... sometimes it can be a few days or even a week before we can discuss a message.

It probably means they're a little undecided and need to have another look tomorrow. It's probably rude of the person not to respond but, as I'm sure you know, the single ladies on here get lots of messages and sometimes some get lost and forgotten about in all the traffic. I'm sure it isn't anything personal but they'd rather be able to give someone a definitive answer rather than be rude and say 'I'm not sure about you'.

Well when said like that.. I do feel a bit thick haha!! yr right would prefer a definitive yes than a maybe anyday! Oh well I can wait for a yes coz anything better than a straight delete or no or even a maybe x

Sometimes I don't reply because it doesn't make sense to! For example 'hi hun, how r u?' Or 'wat u up to today?' To say no thanks doesn't work, but to answer the question enters into conversation, followed by I'm not interested takes way more effort than their initial message....

It's the same with us, we both live in different counties and i will open and pork will Answer when he can get to his pc... We are constantly explaining this to all......

Pork answering this time! As I used to have a single guys profile on this and another site, if I were in your position I would make a separate note of the people you have sent intro messages to, and once you have sent a message, just delete it from your sent messages folder.

Why? Cos as a single guy ALL you are interested in is RESPONSES. It is pointless and demoralising looking at the sent file everyday to see all those messages with the words 'Been read' or 'Deleted' alongside. ALL you need to know is that someone has sent you a response (pos or neg) and that it is sitting in your inbox. As a single guy, you have enough of an uphill struggle just getting a meet to make things worse worrying about something over which you have no control.

Sorry if that sounds blunt, but it took me years to realise this myself - so if helps you to concentrate on the part of this little game we all play, then that's to the good.
