I am a man. Maybe man usually reply but it is just a hypothesis.

On the other hand, I always compose a new message after reading the profile.

And my messages are never "one liners"...

What I usually recieve in return is "silence"!

I am very open minded and take rejection as a sign of personal preference but only very few people reply if I'm not their type.

It is sad and strange behaviour but true.

Defo depends on the message.

If they've clearly not read interests etc or it just says "hi" it's a delete from me.

If some efforts gone into the message and it's polite I always answer even if it's a no thanks.

If I can see itsa good message or a decent profile, I reply, even with a no thanks.

Any messages where its clear they haven't read my profile or haven't filled anything in themselves, I delete.

If they've ignore our filters delete unread.

Others depends on the content. One lines, copy and paste, cock pics plus abuse delete and block.

All others replied.

It's not rude not to reply.

Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?

It's not rude not to reply.

I was just going to write pretty much this exact thing. Sometimes when we’re particularly active on here we get literally bombarded with messsges, it’s just unrealistic to expect anyone to keep up to date with that. We’d need to employ a secretary part time, lol. And most messages off guys are crap to be honest, you’re not getting a response for a “hey” or “hi there”. We respond to guys and couples that make an effort and we’re attracted to. It’s that simple.

I state in my profile that no reply means no thanks, this is because, like most women and couples, I get a lot of messages and I really can't be doing with replying to them all. Particularly as it often leads to whining or abuse.

If someone has clearly taken the time to read my profile and send something decent then I will politely decline but if it's a lazy message or clearly isn't what I want as per profile info, then I'm not wasting any time on him.

To be honest i do get a lot of messages

And i always reply even if its no thank u.

Since stating i was bi i probably get an extra 150-200 messages a day

Due to the collasal number of emails I receive a week (about 1) I do make the effort to reply.

However I had to draw the line at the “Hi” and nowt else email I received recently. Ironically from a profile demanding messages that were more than one-liners

We might not reply if not interested.

Two reasons:

1. Message is like copy/paste

2. They do not match criteria we put in the profile

It is hard to reply sometimes. We have days when we get multiple messages.

I suppose everyone is different me personally as a single man wont get as many messages as a single woman before i used to get probably 90 messages a day probably half were not what i was looking 4 sp it was a polite no thank u but happy fabbing the other half id chat to.

When i declared i was bi i got about an extra 150-200 messages of either single blokes tvs/ts or bi couples will alwayd reply no thanks at least then probably block them

think the problem is some guys send stupid ill thought out messages and when they get a no thankyou they keep sending messages as to why not

so if the few send a thought out message and except the response then the rest of us would get a response to our messages

think about it meeting someone in a pub and saying want to fuck your wife would no doubt get you a black eye

its no different on here be respectful and polite and you never know

If the sender's profile is I will read the message, & if they have clearly read my profile & have put effort into writing more than 'hi' or 'how you doin?' then I will usually reply, even just to say no thanks.

I rarely reply now. If my filters are off I get a lot of messages, and I don’t have time to reply to them all, I don’t want any grief for saying no, and once your filters are back on, they can then still message you, which is just annoying (and this is the main reason I don’t reply).
