Personally I get the observations in terms of people feeling less shame having a preference for a BAME than they do for not wanting BAME. Theres a reason for that and it lays in the racial disparities and history. Not to say its OK but is a symptom of the problems of society and history. I don’t agree with the generalised opinion that different cultures bring drama, of course some do, you can also be the same race as someone and have a completely different culture. You can have similar culture to someone and be of a different race to them for example Caribbean’s and English people will have more in common than say Caribbean’s & Somali’s due to Caribbean’s & English people being mostly Christian and Somali’s predominantly Muslim, and yet Somali’s are more similar skin colour to Caribbean’s. Also, if your grandmother was black that would surely make you of mixed heritage not solely “Caucasian”? Skin colour and race/ethnicity are two very different things, again for example an albino has the skin colour of a Caucasian but most albinos are actually African. Because people think fetishising black people is a compliment." Completely agree. Not just with race either. I'm a fat bird, and my size does get fetishised. I send first messages out and often search profiles to find the ones I like the looks of. The fetishists will have all over the profile that they *only* want BBW or SSBBW, that they are looking for big girls, the bigger the better, I've even seen a minimum dress size stated. The guys (and there are plenty of them) who don't find obesity a turn-on tend to couch it far more softly - "I take care of myself and I'm looking for a woman who does too", for example. The strongest I tend to see is "sorry, preference is for height/weight proportionate" or "sorry, larger ladies aren't my thing, just my personal preference". There's a lot of apology there for the rejection, whereas someone fetishising weight is quite happy to put it right out there. | |||

Preferences, whichever they are may hurt those who don't make the selection, and are discriminatory in nature. But what can we do? Women/Couples can a preference for tall guys, athletic guys, stamina guys, girthy/long guys. Taking away preferences removes individual choice, especially when that choice may actually be beneficial to the individuals experience, even if their psyche isn't as broadminded as one would like. If there's a White couple who, perhaps due to the media or certain situations in real life, have been indoctrinated in such a way that they seriously get off on a Black guy conforming to a stereotype in their head (the big, dark muscular black bull, devoid of any socio-economic value, yet completely full of sexual value). i.e. the basic Alpha-fucks, Beta-bucks (rich, high social status husband with low sexual value contrasted against a poor, low social status bull with high sexual value). I don't think there's a problem with this, everything needs an outlet. It's certainly better than burning crosses on lawns. There are two aspects to this. I'd actually lean to cultural/socio-economic factors being bigger than physical qualities. Due to historical (and in some ways present) social, economical and political disparities between White majorities and non-White minorities (particularly Blacks in the Anglo-sphere) in developed countries. This gives rise to such stereotypical fetishes of essentially "The King's wife seeking her sexual gratification from a lover who is only better in the bedroom". Then there are physical differences. People of African descent tend to be physically different to let's say Europeans/South Asians, and similarly people of East Asian descent have their own different physiology. Without starting an argument on genetics, Black guys tend to be more athletic on the streets/office place and in the bedroom. Athleticism correlates with sexual performance. This all said, there are a large percentage of Black couples that are more affluent than single White guys with BWC. So in the big picture, the reverse likely occurs, just less noticeable - Blacks are a tiny minority compared to Whites, so you won't notice it. Similarly, while it's my opinion, and that of my wife's that if you're searching through profiles, you're more likely to find a black guy with a BBC than a white guy with a BWC and especially a BAC (which seems rarer than a unicorn). It's also very much true that the average Black guy does not possess a BBC, even if they may score a higher average than non-Black guys. So for most guys B-anything-C does not apply. So we're talking about the fringes. I'd imagine in areas with low ethnic diversity, there are numerically more BWCs than BBCs lol. At the same time I think there are probably a higher proportion of young single Black guys than young single White guys. There's a lot of factors... Most aspects are very much overlapping. When people talk about culture. I think this is a code for "low-class/uneducated". For as many White or Asian people not wanting to meet a Black person due to not wanting to encounter some ignorant ghetto attitude. There are many Black people that don't want to meet ignorant 'working class' people. Problem is that many people have internalised their experiences and used them to form stereotypes. Of course, there is an aspect of culture, many of us feel more comfortable socialising with people of our own cultural background, and feel it easier to form a social connection beyond the sexual encounter. Not sure if I'm rambling, or just throwing out ideas. Anyway, my advice to anyone who sees a profile that says BBC only. If you've got a big dick, they'll probably take up your offer, regardless of the colour, and probably regardless of you being in physical shape. That said, the profiles that say "No Blacks, No Asians" - which there are many (even ones by Black women), there is no way in (apart from arranging to meet up in a dark room lol). Experience tells me if someone doesn't want something they're probably not ready for it. Move on, don't waste your energy fighting a political battle, they may come back to you in a few years time, people are constantly changing."
