I know that ANYONE can be a let down and goodness knows there are plenty of men who come on sporadically, wanting something spontaneous RIGHT NOW, because they have an erection/their wife is out/they're bored etc. But they're usually incredibly easy to identify.

What I'm talking about are the young men who you inform that you don't usually go for as they're notoriously unreliable and immature but you give a chance as they seem to understand. Then, after putting some time and effort in - PUFF, they disappear. Anyone else find this or is or just me?

Obviously nobody owes anyone anything but I just don't get it. They are the ones seeking me out, not the other way around.and I make it abundantly clear that I like to get to know people first. They always agree and claim that they're mature, understand that I have commitments and are not just looking for a quick shag. But despite all that they usually flake off fairly rapidly as they seem to lack the ability build rapport or just have short attention spans.

By fucking about like this just, they just make it harder for the more genuine ones as women just aren't going to be willing to entertain them when every single previous one om here has been a waste of time.

I have always championed the single guys, I've found them much politer and less pushy especially in clubs than couples

However having just reactivated my account less than 24hrs ago I'm ready to FAB off again, the sense of entitlement in the messages from guys I've met previously via my couples profile is crazy, one literally told me he was entitled to a solo meet because we'd had a threesome.. erm no

I think it's the heat, it's making them think with their penis rather than their brain

Nice in theory but if you’ve limited time, as I do, you need to be efficient with it and not waste on those most likely to let you down. If you keep getting similar outcomes from a certain demographic, it's wise to anticipate the same again.

As we will only meet with young single guys, we are familiar with this terrritory.

Unfortunately, like all age ranges, the young guys can have their faults. The key is to not blame them all for the one that lets you down.

I was told about a young couple on here who wind up single men for sport and have no intention of ever meeting.

I know people can change their minds but they purposely go to great lengths to make it feel real then block and vanish.

It’s just how they pass their time.

They get a kick out of it.

So unfair to lead people on like that.

Ahh give them a break. Honestly you are describing a guy of any age there not just young guys. Wankers can come in all ages. I've found the younger guys I've spoken have many times been more mature than alot of the guys my age and older.

We where let down so many times by guys we gave up with them

Worst part is, others behaviour has kind of put a damper on our fun on here. We both play separately and have our own accounts. Personally I never get a look in on fab these days with my male account (unless it's someone or someones weve met as a couple) so I dont bother anymore.

Between the fakes, the flakes, the cheating married guys and overly ridiculous "meet now"types it seems not many of the local ladies want to meet outside of clubs so I've just given up trying on here.

To be fair, even my missus wont bother with guys on her account either.

So its proving a lot easier for us both to just to play as a couple for now.

But now with the socials starting up again and clubs re opening, let's see if things change.

The obvious fakes and flakes are easy to spot. It's all over their profiles and comes across in their messages. Quick no thanks and move on.

But the young ones who seek me out, professing to be "different" are harder to detect, unless I literally blanket avoid all under 35s, which seems unfair.

Maybe because she prefers younger guys?

You can’t help your preferences even if sometimes there’s a lot of timewasters.

I don’t think it’s an age thing as I get the same issues and I go for older men, I’m not going to set my age filters to men I wouldn’t be interested in just because there’s flakes in my preferred age range.

Did you even read what I said? I don't seek them out, I don't initiate contact - they pursue me. I don't like to dismiss outright if there's an attraction and common interests but as I said, same old thing keeps happening, hence the post.

As stated, nobody owes anyone anything (except decency) but men are always whining about women dismissing them and not giving them a chance - and this is why. They get the chances then burn any futire goodwill by frequently doing the things they said they weren't going to do
