Anyone here into wild camping? Love to just pack my stuff and head out to a nice quiet spot and spend a night or 2 away from the grind

Yes Wild Camping is awsome! Scotland is the best for unrestricted freedom. All you need to do is follow the country code and respect stag hunters and bird shooters...... I used to camp on the Queens Balmoral Estate when I lived in scotland

Living in London now I still find places to do it, even within the M25....

I do a lot of fishing, but half the time it's just an excuse to go wild camping

Feel free to PM me if you want more about info....

I have and Its lovely! I've done it all over the UK, but Scotland wins hands down because of the freedoms granted under the right to roam laws...

Oh wow that's amazing wild camping in Balmoral, I'd be worried about getting a bullet from prince Phillip but must be a great experience.

I seen loads of people urban wild camp too, always somewhere to go. My favourite has been in Yorkshire bivvy down in an old farm building

I'm doing my first this year this weekend 2 nights 2 different locations hopefully.

Not been for a good 15 years previously, covid made me realise how much I miss the outdoors

Love it! I do alot of wildlife photography and often go for a night or twos wild camp in the wilderness with my camera. Can't beat it. Just a shame so many abuse it by leaving crap strewn all over the countryside.

Nothing better then getting out and about, pitching up in a beautiful spot getting a fire going as the sun dips

Yeah I agree. 1 spot near me has been ruined with kids turning up drinking and leaving litter
