Swinging meet at work?

The boss is away on holiday and I was thinking of organising a meet here at work. It certainly would be an unusual place to meet.

Is it a good idea and if so, how to go about organising it at short notice?

I'd love to have a meet at work while my boss is away, but I don't think the other 600 people in the office would be amused.

On the other hand, they might be amused, but that's not the reaction I'd be after!

Answering the OP's question - if you think it's safe enough not to have any nightmarish consequences, go for it, why not?

I assume the boss might sack you if he finds out? Can you be 100% certain he won't find out?

Is it really worth it?

Wow. Lots of Qs. Will answer all here.

There is a CCTV here but I would turn it off.

I work in a leisure complex.

My boss doesn't swing so I doubt they would find out. If they do I can say it was a booking and I didn't know what they were doing until they got here.

It would be somewhere 'different' rather than a pub or club.

If you're willing to take the risk on your job, good luck to you.

I think the job will be ok.

Have never organised one before.

Best time to start these things?

Would next Wednesday or Thursday be too soon?

Will I need to get anything

Any tips?

Thanks, Bob

So the CCTYV is off, something happens and you have to explain to the boss why you thought turning it off was a good idea?

Unlikely scenario but one that won't end well.

I would never risk my career or work with swinging

good points 2wheels and Jacqs.

I could always delete the CCTV if nothing happened I guess. There would be no need to check if its been deleted

I guess if it ever got out at all it may impact on the business

I will have a think

"may impact"

I'd say if it got out that a local Leisure Centre was being used for swinging then there wouldn't be much of a business left!

People at our work know we are naturists and think that's weird, it would blow their minds if they knew we swung too!

I think this has "Crap idea" all over it. Assuming that you don't own the business and it's not just your own livelihood you're risking, then don't be so selfish as to risk associating someone else's business with something widely perceived to be perverted, dirty and seedy. If your conscience is nagging you that something's a bad idea, then there's usually a very good reason for that.

I think you'd have to be crazy to risk your job, plus as its a commercial premise should anything go wrong the consequences wouldn't be worth thinking about!
