It was odd , I didn't find it stung as such. Not sure if it was because I'd been given a few warm up hand spanks first or fat on the old btm.

NOT for me thanks, I fell into a dyke full o nettles as a nipper in the 70's summer's day only wearing a teeny weeny pair of shorts the nettles in places where 6feet tall I had to pull myself out by grabbing the stalks.

I was covered head to toe, in my ears,nose apart from my groin.

The pain was like nothing else ever.

How I didn't end up in hospital I have no idea.

Nettles are very interesting.

On a side note, there are increases of many types of jellyfish around us and migrations of those who have fiercer stings, due to ocean heating. Perhaps a naked swim would hike things up a notch or 2 for some.
