Poulton le Fylde, Lancs.

I had mine done about 30 years ago, never had any issues. Being married at the time it was the easier of the 2 options as we didn't want any more kids and she didn't want to be on the pill, plus sterilisation for her would be a stay in hospital where the vasectomy was done in under an hour.

Be absolutely sure it's what you want, I've heard nightmares about trying to get it reversed.

Make sure it is what you want. I had to have two doctors approve mine to be done. Reverse is painful and not always successful.

It was fine.

Most of the horror stories you hear are from the old scalpel method that I think is still common in America, but not here.

Now is like key hole surgery. They make a tiny incision, they basically burn the vas tube together. Takes moments and breaks quickly.

I am in this situation ,also thinking about getting circumcised at the same time .

Any advice is helpful

If you are sure it's what you want th3n I say go for it had mine done about 10-12 years ago with no issues after and it's honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, no stitches, no scar and no little swimmers causing trouble

Or you could be unlucky like I was.

Key hole method, 2nd vas tube was very tight and at the back, hard to get hold of, anaesthetic started to wear off while he was routing about inside my nut sack.

Ended up with an infection in my ball bag and it was the size of a coconut for a week.

No regrets here, was a bit sore for a couple of days but that’s it. If you’re 100% sure it’s what you want then go for it.

I’m had mine when we were still pregnant with our youngest (7 years ago).

It was the most surreal thing ever. I’m lying there, two nurses at the bottom and one by my head.

I could see a reflection (slightly distorted) of what they were doing. I could feel them tugging away down there but wasn’t painful. The nurse at my side was nice to talk to. We spoke about mobile phones

Make sure you get time away from kids etc. My daughter jumped on me and caused a lot of pain for a few days afterwards.

No regrets though, definitely one of the the best decisions I’ve made.

I've had both as an adult and all I will tell you is get them done separately, the circumcision is quite tough the first few days as morning glory is an issue (Split stitches) so to have that and potential complications with a vasectomy as well is just not worth contemplating.

Had my vasectomy about 14 years ago, a very quick simple procedure at a local doctors surgery who could do it and no recovery issues at all.

Its quite comical looking up and seeing smoke coming from your balls while you have a conversation with the nurse who is on hand

Its pretty much pain free, you do feel the first needle go in buy that's it and it's only a slight thing, anything done at the dentist is a lot worse.

Breaks? Obviously I meant heals! Silly autocorrect.

I went private about 8 years ago, cost about a grand. Was knocked out for it, don't need to be seeing someone rummaging around inside my satchel thank you very much.

Tender for a couple of days but the cool packs helped.

I don't seem to be chasing the postman or barking out the window as much anymore, so it must have worked...

Right, I had the snip 23 years ago after my divorce. I then met my now wife a few months later who was 13 years younger. She wanted more children.......oops!

So I sold my motorbike to pay for a private reversal as they don't do it on the NHS.

I was put under a general, and it all went well and worked perfectly.

Just make sure it's definitely what you want!

Had it done a few years ago. No issues except a slight loss in the amount of cum, which isn't that noticeable if we have lots of foreplay.

Make sure it's what you really want, it's a painful, expensive procedure, about £3000 to be reversed. I had mine done 5 years ago, pretty quick and done at a local doctors and no issues then or since. All good mate

"I had mine done a few years ago and never looked back. "

Got mine done after I divorced because I wanted to have fun and didn't want paternity orders coming my way.

No risk of me ever wanting to reverse it. I worked with other people's children and wanted a quiet home life!

I've had no children I've been told about and certainly none since having the snip!

Reverse was not painful at all

Just paying the £2670 hurt a bit but worked straight away

I'm in the position of wanting a reversal (complicated reasons) where did you have yours for that price?

7 years since my vasectomy and it didn't hurt at all but like most posters are saying you need to be absolutely sure it's what you want to do..

when its done they give you some pain killers for the next 24hrs. they are eagre to point out you should take these regularly and dont wait for them to wear off before taking the next batch. they are correct. take them exactly and do not deviate from instructions. otherwise.. well lets just say it hurts..

All was good with mine, quick, painless, I was driving a digger in the afternoon and played a first team league rugby match at the weekend. Thankfully I didn't get any knocks.....
