Looking for a resumption of play in mid July at a Club. Are we being too timid or too positive given the pandemic conditions. Erotic desires are deeply dampened by the realities of our times.

I say get something pencilled in and give yourself something to look forward to, lifes too short and majority of adults have had first dose of the vaccine so the risk of us both getting it and it causing a major health risk are relatively low

I'm looking to second jab plus three weeks to begin to consider meeting again, one on one.

Parties and clubs... I'm not sure yet.

My second jab is end of July, so that's when I'll be looking to resume..... keep getting tempted, but having survived over a year without meeting anyone, a few more weeks won't harm me...

We are only starting again in august mainly because wife wants to meet up with her fuck buddy ,with vaccine and better treatment,we feel a dam site safer now , can’t hide away for the rest of our lifes COVID is less of a killer than heart disease and cancer now , so after our meet with her fuck buddy we intend to go club and parties again

When clubs are fully open and its deemed to be safe I will then start considering it but only when I am personally comfortable with it.

You could always mitigate the issues by having all jabs plus 3 weeks, meeting others who are similar and having quick tests, with negative results beforehand.

I think at this point you have to weigh up the risks in line with your personal circumstances have you had both jabs plus 3 weeks? Are you in a region with higher levels etc etc? There is a risk but so is there a risk of stis in the case of a condom breaks or during oral so it depends on how risk adverse you are. No one else can give you an answer that fits you.

Great to have so many sensible, positive, responsible and respectful contributions to this thread. Wanted to start a conversation to raise awareness and the process of resumption of play. xx from us both

It is a difficult decision, for sure.

Already resumed play but only because I have been fully vaccinated since the beginning of April and get tested regularly.
