exactly this. Not everyone can take large sounding rods. you stop when you feel the least resistance otherwise you are asking for trouble. Top many think they can just push anything down.

Throwing in from a female perspective my Dom recently tried this with me.

I was really, really nervous but it was incredible and I came really hard twice in a matter of minutes.

I have only ever done it to myself. Have a long plastic one and a hollow ribbed one. As everyone says make sure sterile, lots of lube, let gravity work rather than pushing or forcing it in and you will enjoy.
