Try the Quays/Docks. Tank, Wetherspoons, Portivo Lounge. All popular with the ladies..

Depends what you're after. Avoid eastgate street unless you like pissed teens. Docks is good for choice, has cheap and classy joints.

If you want a decent relaxed pint try the fountain in Westgate.

If money's no object try tank!

Visited last year...The Dick Whittington.

Nice old pub..13th century i believe.
